Meghan Markle travelled solo to Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday 17 May for one of her most significant public appearances to date, the inauguration of the Lost Screen Memorial at Place des Nations, on the eve of the 79th World Health Assembly.

They way this pair of grifters swan about lecturing people....one can only hope the law of diminishing returns plays out here. Every time they 'show up' to progressively fewer crowds, maybe the penny will drop.

They don't appear to do any work in the actual fields they lecture about; its all so performative, like they've picked some trendy topics to bandwagon on for likes and column inches.

this is long term work for Archewell, it’s been in play for ages now.

Putting aside who it is delivering the message, I do think the message itself is very relevant today, especially since I am from the generation that didn't grow up with tech and social media.

Actually I don't think I am that bothered if it is her who is also trying to bring awareness to what is going on because it is really concerning how hate is becoming normalised. Of course social media platforms and their algorithms have a part to play as they keep you engaged and amplify outrage, comparison, negativity, and unrealistic standards. However I also think its on parents to understand giving children unrestricted access is not healthy and then there is personal responsibility on all of us and how we behave online. Why does anyone need to make comments that are hateful and cruel 🤷‍♂️ It would be interesting to see if you could not hide behind a username and it was your real name used would those people still make those same comments...

Do your research! Archwell parted company with this initiative ages ago and even put out a statement.

Didn’t they offload the Parents Network to Parents Together a while ago, when they mothballed Archewell? I assumed that was partly a financial dodge, but also to avoid accusations of hypocrisy when Meghan posts photos of her children on social media to help her sell jam and clothes. Always hard to figure out the strategy with Meghan though.

Yes they did! And they released a statement about it!

I’m not sure why Meghan got involved having previously backed away from this initiative and given that it was a (apparently plagiarised) speech to no audience from the middle of a roundabout. What was the point? I guess it was a chance to be photographed and to show off her Armani jacket.

There are videos on TikTok showing how empty it was when she did her speech. It looks toe curling for her.

The absolute hypocrisy of constantly breadcrumbing their children’s images on social media and this is clear.

People are fascinated by HER.
Not by anything she has to say.
She’s not magnetic. Not A-List.

Neither is Harry. He had power.
But now… What is the point?

She read someone else's speech on the internet, printed it off, put on a business suit, flew to another continent and read it out to some empty chairs. She's obviously got over her climate change angst.

Isn't this the charity Archewell dumped in December and offloaded onto another charity "Parents Together"?

Is the blurred background to conceal that very few people attended other than the 40 or so invited guests? Barriers were put up but no crowds apart from a a couple of random passers-by. It's odd because the blurring cuts out the images of the children that were meant to be at the centre of this installation event.

Who gives a toss about a self absorbed very mediocre actress who just happened to marry a prince?

She is irrelevant and entitled and frankly not even worth talking about.

"No Child Lost to Social Media" whilst she puts her own children on social media quite frequently.

The 'Lock Screen' memorial is heartbreaking. But she is tone-deaf. The World Health Organization does their best dealing with issues such as global pandemics, vaccinations and such. I'm baffled as to why/how the WHO decided to bring her in for this, or in fact to dabble in issues related to SM in the first place.

I guess if she’s trying to flog her wardrobe choices for $$$$ then she’s got to be seen at high profile events, hasn’t she?
It smacks of total desperation to me.

They are running out of money & she is going out marketing herself.

How low will she stoop I wonder? Marketing the children’s images now where they look like faceless captives.

She has a nice speaking voice, but she is insufferable, the general public have spoken, very few are interested in them, but a lot of the public (globally) very much dislike them.

Had to laugh at the chairs being so spread out, reminiscent of Covid days, in a vain effort to make it look more full. Unless the WHO know something they haven’t share with us.

She had to crowbar in the fact that she’s been criticised online with the reference to abuse being “almost unsurvivable for an adult”. As ever, it’s about Meghan.
