She had to crowbar in the fact that she’s been criticised online with the reference to abuse being “almost unsurvivable for an adult”. As ever, it’s about Meghan.

So crass

Fascinating to watch the car crash though…

Totally agree. It sorta feels like the moments before real impact and waiting for that final impact to occur.

Besafeeatcake · 19/05/2026 09:50

I know people who knew her when she lived in Toronto. The describe her as fake as they come.

Putting aside who it is delivering the message, I do think the message itself is very relevant today, especially since I am from the generation that didn't grow up with tech and social media.

Actually I don't think I am that bothered if it is her who is also trying to bring awareness to what is going on because it is really concerning how hate is becoming normalised. Of course social media platforms and their algorithms have a part to play as they keep you engaged and amplify outrage, comparison, negativity, and unrealistic standards. However I also think its on parents to understand giving children unrestricted access is not healthy and then there is personal responsibility on all of us and how we behave online. Why does anyone need to make comments that are hateful and cruel 🤷‍♂️ It would be interesting to see if you could not hide behind a username and it was your real name used would those people still make those same comments...

“amplified rage, comparison, negativity and unrealistic standards” seems to have been the core values of H&M’s brand communication strategy over the last 6 years with every word that has come directly from their own mouths. No need for an algorithm boost. Add hypocrisy and grifting with repeated bullying of employees and using charity event attendance to directly sell products to solely line their own pockets. Add on posting private photos of other people’s children the day of her WHO talk without their permission and without blocking their faces and you have the whole house bingo scorecard.

Turnout was worse than a Love Islander cutting the ribbon at a new Carpet Warehouse.

🤣🤣🤣 excellent! I can actually picture it!

They way this pair of grifters swan about lecturing people....one can only hope the law of diminishing returns plays out here. Every time they 'show up' to progressively fewer crowds, maybe the penny will drop.

They don't appear to do any work in the actual fields they lecture about; its all so performative, like they've picked some trendy topics to bandwagon on for likes and column inches.

We see you....

Neither do the royal family. Experts in nothing.

Has William solved all homelessness yet?

I was thinking the same but managed to quell myself from interrogating @Besafeeatcake!

canuckup · 19/05/2026 14:57

She should just stay in LA where she belongs and live a quiet, privileged life.

Leo800 · 19/05/2026 15:02

The crowd is tiny. How embarrassing for her. Doubt she’ll learn anything from it though.

No, but they also don‘t try and earn some cash from merching the clothes they are wearing to said appointments or punt their ‘philanthropic’ status whilst having the ‘charity foundation’ registered in Delaware (where they neither reside or do business) which has, to put it mildly, somewhat lax regulation and allows them to distribute only 5% of income to worthy causes in order to qualify for charitable status.

Nor do they preach about online safety for kids whilst using their own to sell fucking jam, which apparently is ok because their faces (just about) can’t be seen.

I’ll take a publicly funded RF instead. On balance I think the country benefits from them.

At least they aren’t taking a cut from charities they raise awareness of like a certain couple of grifting cosplayers.

Talk about a poorly managed series of PR blunders

...huge fanfare last week when Meghan's PR announces that Meghan will address the WHO in Geneva

...interesting that Meghan wangled herself an invitation for a charity that she and Harry publicly dumped last December when they closed the Archewell Foundation at short notice...

...she likely imagined it would be like Harry's Ukraine speeches - dressed in her Amani power suit, up on the stage and being applauded by an auditorium full of smiling UN delegates

...but it turned out that she was not appearing at the WHO Assembly but was to appear on a subsidiary event, on a traffic island outside the WHO , to make some introductory remarks at the opening of a temporary art installation that hoped to lobby delegates as they drove past to the main event.

...the organizers had set out some well spaced chairs (perhaps 40) and placed "crowd control" barriers

...Meghan arrived looking polished in her Amani suit - but also looking tense as the miniscule size of this event began to dawn... the chairs weren't filled

...she made her speech while bemused tourists, locals and traffic passed her by - a few randoms stopped briefly although some seemed to be literally waiting for a bus as Meghan was speaking next to a bus stop.

...many of the photos released to the press had the background blurred - to obscure the location? - so literally blurring the installation she was there to promote!

...the following day she got a chance to wear the Princess Diaries outfit and was presented with ... a T-shirt!

...later she managed to attend a reception where she managed to pose for photos with a Far Right politician infamous for sexual harassment and racist abuse

The whole thing seems very poorly executed - almost like she heard the words UN and Geneva and didn't bother to find out more.

Of course she did - poor me !

I'm thinking she's pestered this guy for an appearance and he's tacked this on for her 😂🤷‍♀️

Remember when her from Corrie, Tracey Shaw, was wheeled around in a trolley for a Kwik Save promo? Back in the Heat magazine days… Even she said it was her lowest moment.

Someone on her team is getting the full hairdryer treatment, for sure!

All while insisting it's not safe to come to the UK and stay in a royal residence with full protection from the Met's Royal Protection squad.

Yup. Mad as a box of frogs.

Arjan · 19/05/2026 16:36

And now she is crazily releasing never before seen images of their wedding day, most of the photos of Harry are of him looking like a fricking gargoyle.

The woman comes across as seriously demented.

Lazingsundayafternoon · 19/05/2026 18:18

Why on earth should anyone care about her and Harry, their anniversary or pics of them smooching in the kitchen? Who is taking the photo I wonder? Its embarrassing .

BridgetJonesV2 · 19/05/2026 18:25

She is becoming the high priestess of delusion, methinks. I don't know how she could stand there lecturing about the dangers children face online all whilst posting photos/videos of her own kids online.

Her ego is far bigger than her talent. So far which appears to be bagging a Prince and little else.
