well that is an odd one.
why do the RF insist on doing ones that are not in the least bit Christmassy.

I don’t understand it either, they always give summer vibes for Christmas.

Meh. But I see the “Nah nah nah nah nah, not showing you our kids!” dance continues.

HollyhockDays · 19/12/2025 16:57

That’s the oddest photo to pick. The see through dress, the socks and shoes combo on Lilli, the kids with their backs to each other. Also Harry’s untucked shirt.

I mean, I guess.

Why is Lily bigger than Archie? Odd picture.

Lindy2 · 19/12/2025 17:06

They're trying so hard to look natural it really looks the complete opposite.

Meghan is so overly close to Lilibet's covered up face It's rather odd.

Why is Lilibet's hair always so messy? Harry's loose shirt with bits of his back showing is strange too.

I don't like them. I'm probably biased but everything they do just seems slightly odd and forced.

Mylovelygreendress · 19/12/2025 17:08

Do young girls usually wear long white socks in the US ?

CutePixieGirl · 19/12/2025 17:12

It’s beautiful. I enjoyed Meghan’s Christmas special. They seem happy and both look very healthy.

Does a child’s clothing choice matter to you? I think she can wear whatever she likes.

Boododedoop · 19/12/2025 17:14

I’m no fan whatsoever of Harry and Meghan but I like the photo, especially the quirkiness.

Lilibets hair - yes it does always look unbrushed but maybe it’s a hill no one around her is prepared to die on and I quite like the idea of her being a little scruff or a tomboy.

It was simply a question as Lilibet has often been photographed wearing knee length white socks and it’s not something I see little girls wearing where I am .
No need to be snarky , I was curious.

Meghan’s hair looked greasy and I wondered if it was just a genuinely impromptu casual walk on their big estate on a regular Saturday morning (I imagine the wealthy still have those don’t they?) but then you realise someone else took the photo. Unless it was Doria who took the photo. Still it’s quite odd. Not Christmassy in the least. Or ‘holiday season’ as they call it 🙄

No. Bare legs in summer, leggings or tights in winter.

Harry's bald spot looks weird, too. Bad attempt to cover it up?

This, is she not a good few years younger? Is it actually them? Stand ins? AI??

Ohpleeeease · 19/12/2025 17:28

Why has this been released? Is this what Hollywood celebrities do?

Raisondeetre · 19/12/2025 17:28

It’s as if they want their kids to look as scruffy and unkempt as possible to be the opposite of the Wales’. They don’t look like a family, they always seem to be
at cross purposes, dressed for different occasions and climates. Just performing for the camera.

Rocket1982 · 19/12/2025 17:29

Archie clearly has his knees bent, so he's not standing at full height and it's basically summer all year in Los Angeles 🙄

OlympicWomen · 19/12/2025 17:32

I'm glad they chose colour, because they usually go for black and white. Nice background, but it's a bit of a strange composition. I suppose it's the effort to conceal the children's faces that makes it look a little odd.
Anyway. Their choice, it's a perfectly ok card.

prawncocktailcrispss · 19/12/2025 17:34

I quite like it, but would really like to see the children better, it's just a silly game they are playing with the public.

I noticed that it's "on behalf of the office of" the Duke and Duchess.
So...they don't send it directly, but nor does their office? Is that an American thing?

He’s not. Even with his knees bent, he’s still clearly taller.

She's foregrounded and Archie has his legs off the ground and tucked up. You can't tell from that picture at all what the height difference between them is.

I think Lilibet's hair looks fine. It hasn't been brushed in the 10 minutes before the photo was taken but why does it need to be?

It's entirely unremarkable.

OlympicWomen · 19/12/2025 17:40

I think a better composition would have been if H&M had sat together on the bridge, and Archie and Lilibet had sat with them, but looked down at the water.

Based on comments here about their height, clothing and messy hair, can you imagine the comments if people could see their teeth, nose, eyes etc clearly. It’s really sad that people would comment on young children’s appearance negatively.
