How do you know he was happy to be seen with him? He looked pretty pissed off when Andrew kept chatting to him at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral. To say they are neighbours is quite a stretch. It’s not like they live in a cul de sac on an estate in Maidenhead. I think their homes are a couple of miles apart. Windsor Great Park is huge.

Exactly. I've never seen William indicate he was "happy to be seen with him".
I saw them outside Westminster Cathedral after the DoK funeral, and William wouldn't engage with Andrew at all, and acted like there was a bad smell!
Bloody obvious he couldn't stand to be near him.

Has he paid tax all his working life?

Presumably he paid tax when he was in the Navy, so he may be entitled to some of the state pension. I don’t know though.

ShenandoahRiver · 30/10/2025 19:46

@MrsLeonFarrell
Well I for one am delighted Republic are 'grandstanding'. How fucking long more would it take KC to actually do something otherwise.

Doseofreality · 30/10/2025 19:47

Fantastic news!

Lets all hope the fall
of the sweaty paedo previously known as Prince signals the beginning of the end of the Monarchy.

TheBeaTgoeson1 · 30/10/2025 19:47

RIP Virginia, and all victims of men like this.

He hasn’t picked it. That’s their name. Decided a long time ago.

Yes I know, but still ironic.

Merryoldgoat · 30/10/2025 19:47

New6754 · 30/10/2025 19:12

I have no idea how anyone thinks Harry’s behaviour is remotely comparable with Andrew’s. None.

I agree @New6754

How on earth can people think like this?

CrimsonStoat · 30/10/2025 19:47

WineBeforeWhine · 30/10/2025 19:42

What is ironic is that he takes the name of his uncle who had very serious allegations against him as well.

They're all called Mountbatten Windsor when it comes down to it.

I agree, this is very different

I mean, he looked quite bemused at the chatting and laughing at a funeral, not at all pissed off. If he didn’t want to be seen with him it would be made clear before the event that he was to keep his distance!

And yes, the fact they both live on Windsor does suggest he’s fine with it. If he was arsed then he’d have made that clear too.

All this fawning over William and Kate is embarrassing. Pair of workshy freeloaders 😅

I would love to know what William said when he scratched his nose. I suspect it started with F and ended with off.

I love the fact that Republic were trying to get him arrested, and I'm no fan of theirs!
I hope they go ahead with the private prosecution, tbh. Good luck to them.

Dweetfidilove · 30/10/2025 19:42

Will peado also lose the Dukedom?

Lemme guess, he'll move into another property funded by ?

The king is going to privately put him up on his own land and out of his own pocket, which is a merciful thing for a brother to do despite everything, and no doubt that comes with strings, ie; Andy can't turn up on I'm a Celebrity / Big Brother etc or go writing books - he will effectively be cosseted away, which for a pompous entitled twit like him will be akin to going to prison.

That we know about yet.

Wow what’s your problem with Harry?

Ah, fair enough Serenster - though goodness knows what's gone on which meant he could be persuaded

@AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta I looked it up and the last one this happened to was Prince Ernest the Duke of Cumberland, back in 1917.
Apparently he swore allegiance to Germany during the war, which being German himself may have been a natural thing to do, but presumably didn't look good

The threat that his daughters would be stripped of their titles when William accedes the throne.

PistachioTiramisu · 30/10/2025 19:50

Hope all you witch hunters are happy now, then? Bully for you all.

MrsLeonFarrell · 30/10/2025 19:50

BBC news is now live from Royal Lodge gates.

Not sure what they are expecting, Andrew in his pants ranting about the unfairness of life?

Yes. A house on the Sandringham estate as a plain Mr.
It will be torture.

Imaginethatifyoucan · 30/10/2025 19:29

Yes he is doing it his way. Publicly trashing and embarrassing his brother and family and the sister in law who had been so good to him.

Well if publicly trashing and embarrassing members of your family meant stripping titles both Charles and Diana would have been Mr. and Mrs Mountbatten Windsor long ago. I remember all those interviews, all those books. harry didn't invent the tell-all embarrassing memoir - he got that gene from both his parents.
