I dont think Meghan will come back to the UK, and if she did, I doubt if she would allow the Children to come to UK, and definitely not with Harry on his own.
Harry has made it clear he did not like being a 'working' royal, so I doubt he would take part in any official duties. And I do not think the public will want him to either.
It is possible he can return to a family role, and visit Charles, etc in the future, Balmoral, etc, but I think we should discount any visits of the children until they are 18, when presumably Harry could bring them over without Meghan's permission (here I am assuming that rules in the US are similar to the UK).
An earlier poster remarked that Harry did not seem to understand the Monarchy's role, or history, etc, but I think it is clear that from his book, 'Spare', he actually revelled at Eton in NOT wanting to know anything about the role of the monarch, or past monarchs.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 15/09/2025 12:35

@Falseknock Well seeing as his Father is the royal family best Harry stays away from his toxicity. You have no idea what cancer Charles has by the way.

Falseknock · 15/09/2025 12:32

He has prostate cancer. My piano yeacher died at 80 with the same cancer diagnosis. It's only right Harry sees his dad. The royal family is toxic and not as well liked or respected as what people think in this country.

Given there was an announcement stating that it was not prostate cancer that seems unlikely

Mylovelygreendress · 15/09/2025 12:04

No they left because they didn’t get their own way .
here it is in their own words

What should they have said before they left. Should they have brought up the bullying or the mental health that Meghan suffered from the press?
I am sure they were guided by the Palace on what to write before they left.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 15/09/2025 12:44

Seeing as the Palace knew nothing about it I would say with certainty that they were not “guided” by the Palace. They are their own words whether you like it or not.

He's the born son of a reigning monarch, surely he can't lose the title of Prince?

If it was proved that he had actually committed treason against the Crown, he would lose the title of Prince. But it hasn't happened for a long time.

whynotwhatknot · 15/09/2025 12:45

wtf is he kidding me

BigWillyLittleTodger · 15/09/2025 12:45

It doesn’t have to be treason, the monarch can remove the Prince title if he so wishes, it won’t happen though for either Harry or Andrew.

The Palace implicitly ruled out prostrate cancer.

Any type of cancer at his age is not good. The telegraph reports that "Charles will die of cancer, but not of cancer following a rigorous treatment programme". My mum had cancer and it was still the reason why she died and that's with rigorous treatment as well. A stroke or a heart attack happens because the body can no longer cope.

Not you or the royal family.

No they weren’t guided by the palace . They caught everyone on the hop by issuing the statement before they spoke to The Queen etc .
And I reiterate - they didn’t want to leave !
I give up .,

Yes give up you have no idea what they planned. The British public would never accept Harry marrying Meghan.

JustineRobots · 15/09/2025 12:53

Harry didn’t ask to be born with a title, the public thinking they can dictate his life.
I'd rather scrub toilets in their position than return to the hateful mob.

You missed out the bit where he did ask for the 24/7 international security and lifestyle funding that goes with the title - without wanting to do any of the work that goes with it.

Maybe he should pick up that scrubbing brush instead of a tiny violin.

Tubestrike · 15/09/2025 12:54

Did he run this interview past his PR team I wonder. If they gave it the thumbs up then H&M are wasting their money on them. If they advised him not to do it and Harry went ahead anyway then I'd be giving him up as a client if I were them .

Did you watch the wedding? There was a HUGE amount of “ acceptance” from the British public, until she started trashing the country!

Then why did millions of people watch it on television? Hold street parties?

You’re inventing a public outcry at this marriage that never actually happened.

Imagine your father had married your innocent teenaged mother for convenience, while continuing his affair with another woman throughout the marriage.

Imagine he was head of the Church of England, but stood at the church altar lying when he vowed be faithful to his bride.

Imagine he drove her mad with his infidelity and coldness.

Imagine all of this went on in the public eye and the whole world saw her humiliation.

Imagine she died, your father married his mistress and you are supposed to pretend you respect them, and revere the pair of them as the king and queen.

How the hell would you feel?

Hmm, yet William doesn’t behave the way Harry does.

Agreed
They wanted to be part-time Royals, all the glam stuff, state dinners, Trooping the Colour, the big parades while earning their own money (using the royal connections) None of the boring visiting hospitals and recycling centres.

The Queen (probably backed by William and Charles) said No.
The RF made sure they couldnt monopolise their position at either the Queens funeral or the Cornination (candle and Ann's feathers the RF must have had a right giggle at the feathers pure genius)

Edit missed a very important n't

It didn't people were generally happy for him watched the wedding thought Megan was admirable a breath of fresh air etc etc, the late Queen seemed to take Megan under her wing. Then it all imploded, and the pair of them seemed to be utter.twats,
