If anyone can manage to sit through this podcast between Meghan and Jamie Kern Lima, what are your thoughts about Meghan saying this?
And what are your thoughts on Meghan in general after watching her talking with Jamie here?
I don't know if I'm BU but I pick up on narcissist vibes.

Aw it sounds like she loves her husband very much and thinks he’s handsome. Very sweet.

I haven’t watched it but this sentence alone doesn’t seem problematic to me, it seems like a nice thing to say?

I just find her incredibly annoying in this interview. But the interviewer is no better really.

That whole podcast was annoying - the vocal affectations of both was really irritating and made it pretty unlistenable.

As for what she said - it's a bit OTT, but then she is OTT herself. The Greatest Love Story (TM) is part of their schtick. Gotta keep it going.

I think it was telling that she had to.prompt the audience and say he was a fox more than once. No.one rushed to agree with but he is her husband so as long as she thinks it that's all that matters . Personally I thought the whole interview was nauseating in its sickliness and cringy that a woman in her 40s acts like a girly teenager but that is her style .

That interviewer is SO weird. I was totally distracted by how peculiar she is.

My Dh is objectively handsome. I don’t sit around with my mates saying ‘you do realise my husband is handsome dont you?’. They would think I was a right dick if I did. Same applies here.

To give Meghan some grace here, the questions were trash. I could not believe those are the questions of a professional interviewer. So Meghan was a bit stuck.

That said, it seemed a bit...try hard. Like I-am-giving-reasons-to-explain-why-I-obviously-love-my-husband-but-it's-not-so-obvious-even-to-me-so-I-must-outline-and-justify-it-to-the-audience.

You have noticed that he is a 'fox'? No? That is one reason why. Second reason is that man loves me sooo much. You see?

Now Meghan is is very verbally expansive when she talks, so it might just be her way. She struggles to be natural and usually comes across as affected and a bit like she's acting.

A more natural response would be something like: 'I know people say that when you get married you see each other all the time and the chemistry dies, but I still think he's totally gorgeous/he's still so gorgeous to me.'

Or:

He still gives me butterflies
I still find him hot
I still catch myself thinking how did I bag this gorgeous guy

But honestly the question was rubbish.

I would find it odd if someone asked me if I found my husband attractive, of course I do. I have been married 30 years and tbh what anyone else thinks is irrelevant.
Only heard snippets of interview, 2 grown women gushing over each other just comes across as insincere.

isuspect you don’t know what narcissistic means! Unless the was she said it made it obvious that it was intended to make people laugh, it’s a bit yuckily cutesy-but not narcissistic.

I'd be amazed if someone as controlling of her image as Meghan is would agree to be interviewed without approving the questions - or at the very least the line of questioning - in advance.

Of course she knew the questions in advance! Meghan wouldn't risk an awkward moment or, heaven forfend, a question which didn't show her in the best light!

Lost Americans round my way are rarely 'always very postive'. Most are pissed off with being lost.

It just very American. They've always been the same. Over the top, gushing and nauseatingly sentimental. To our ears it sounds phony and contrived but it's their cultural way. I expect people are more used to it now because of social media and a lot of young people actually emulate the style but years ago we used to either take the piss out of it or cringe with embarrassment.
