H&M are deluded and self-important. H is also dim and weak but fantastic with people, especially kids. The Nigeria and Columbia visits have hardly brought glory on those two nations. Ghana is doing itself no favours.

I read that the media were locked out of a lot of invictus events and only received images once M put them on her instagram stories. The article, in the daily mail, concluded by asking who benefited most from M attending, the veterans or M. I would infer from the fact that M was able to use images first from Invictus that rumours of marital discord between them are false and that H inexplicably supports his wife's determination to use Invictus to support her own brand.

This is the Royal Family board in Mumsnet, which is a UK based site. I think everyone here is capable of interest in other things, including the current lunatic President of the US we didn't elect, but this thread is to talk about Harry and Meghan.

I read this story and, having worked in PR and communications for years, am struggling to believe that Invictus could possibly have agreed to this arrangement, particularly given all the Meghan-driven negative coverage they've had in previous years. What the article didn't say was that Meghan's self-generated coverage was taken down after her quick flit from the games and replaced with an Invictus-branded, professionally produced reel.

Would you please just leave them alone?

There have been some pretty poor media optics for Invictus, which should have been about the triumph of the inaugural winter games and focus on the veterans competing. Obviously all the PDA stuff, which surpassed H&M's own track record for making every single event about their relationship; the above-mentioned media exclusion, which makes no sense at all when you are trying to promote a brand and get the public interested; and the kerfuffle over the Nigerian delegation's visas.

It smacks of poor leadership. One has to wonder again about the abrupt departures the 3 men who were the original brains and expertise behind the Canadian winter games. Dominic Read's departure was so strange, just months before the winter games that were his vision; CEO Peter Lawless, who has been described as a lawyer and "arguably Canada's most respected Olympic and Paralympic administrator" (surely under him the visa mess would not have happened); and CCO, Bill Cooper.

I'm having a sleepless night for various reasons so drifting around MN - came across this thread and popped in for a gander (would it send me back to sleep?). You're obviously referring to the colour of her skin but her pasty red haired husband also gets discussed at the same time so that cancels your argument out right away.

The two of them are just unbelievably interesting and not in a good way. Their total lack of any self awareness is staggering and it's interesting to me to read other people's opinions on what they do while I'm bored on nightshift and I've done all my daily word puzzles.

I have no ill feeling to them, i don't actually care about the RF though see they serve a purpose but whole M&H carry on is like dipping into a very strange soap opera.

I've heard a rumour that Meghan is going to / wants to make an appearance at the Oscars with a speech about the Cali wildfires, asking for support and donations. This helps explain her Billie Eilish T shirt vid and also it'll be good promo for With Love Meghan if it comes off.

I've never understood why people go on internet threads to tell other people on the internet thread not to post on the internet thread. I always think: there must be literally billions of threads and message boards started every day on the internet; the number of threads I'm actually likely to notice and then want to post on, as one person out of 8 billion people on earth, is MINISCULE. It would never occur to me to even try to hop on all the other trillions of threads I'm not interested in, specifically to urge the posters who are interested in posting, not to post. I mean, like, think about that. It would take a very unusual and severe form of solipsism to even think such an attempt would be possible, never mind sane.
