In the passive aggressive world of social media, Gwyneth Paltrow choosing last night to follow the original As Ever clothing store, and not to follow Meghan's As Ever, is the equivalent of a ringing declaration of war, and Gwyneth has picked her side.
Gwyneth is publicly staking her position on the side of the small company, and against the Netflix & Meghan behemoth which is steamrollering it.
Since A-Listers never make any potentially controversial move without thoroughly consulting with their peers and advisers, we can expect more celebs to follow.

I'm going to say something which the agnostics and atheists on this thread are free to ignore, but I'm religious and spiritual so I'll say it because I truly believe it in my soul (and have seen it proved time and again in my life and the lives of my circle):
People who abuse and/or disrespect their elders NEVER prosper. The fact that Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shinto and Zoroastrianism are ALL explicit about this, tells us that this is the proven wisdom of the ages, even if you don't adhere to a religion per se.
People who disrespect their elders always suffer for it. Might not be immediately, but they do. You can attribute it to Karma, or simply to the fact that people who publicly disrespect elders lose their good reputations very quickly. No one wants to assist or buy from people who aired their parents and grandparents out to dry in public. Simples.
