WTF Ghana? Just why?

Exactly, both sides get what they want. H&M get to dress up and parade around in front of the cameras while being feted and adored for just existing, and the host country gets publicity. Voila!

Is that what you meant? If not, what did you mean? If so why do you think a) Harry also gets loads of criticism and b) other black celebrities don't?

Yet she still clings to her title given to her by the nasty royals, uses the titles of Prince and Princess for her children and has a royal style insignia. Oh and of course, beauty is really important for being royal. And her character and intelligence have led to great success outside of the royal family. And she has never bullied her staff. I really think StirrerUpofDiscord has such a nice ring to it, although as this is the second thread I've ever started in the RF topic (the other one being about Charles) I'm pretty rubbish at it.

So why did they want half in / half out ? Why not refuse to use her title ? Why not refuse to have titles for her children ?

These are talking points from 4 years ago. They don't really work since Spare, Oprah, the Netflix documentary and the bullying accusations against Meghan in respected US media.

If that's correct, @JSMill, then I've no doubt the media will make them pay for it, just as they did with the false stories about Meghan going into labour and Edward did with the shambles over the treatment of the media at the Royal Knockout

That doesn't make it right of course, but the media can both give and take away, and there's a certain skill in balancing how they're treated

In other news does anyone know if this Ghana trip has been confirmed yet? To me it all seems speculation ATM but I could well be wrong

TBF to the Daily Mail, they nearly always get the first scoop on celeb/RF stories. If you want to know what's going on, they get there long before the broadsheets and other outlets like BBC. Of course, they are also very critical of H&M, who would no doubt denounce anything that the DM prints, but press regulations are pretty tight these days and so all news outlets are careful what they print, for fear of being sued.

I think the bottom line for certain people is that no criticism of Meghan and Harry is acceptable.

I think people just like to have someone to dislike/ridicule/criticise. To have a common target is then something to do some toxic bonding over? Tattle is a prime example of it. I think it’s just human nature and if it wasnt H and M it would be someone else.

I am not sure this thread is toxic at all - I think H&M with their antics sort of invite criticism. I thought @GiveMeSpanakopita 's post above was interesting.

Joachim and Marie are very similar to Harry and Meghan. He and Fred are on the outs and they don't live in Denmark. Marie is wearing Invictus merch.

Harry looks like he is getting among the contestants, but we have no idea how much time he is spending there due to the media "black out". His hair looks absolutely dreadful, he's aging badly.

Why is there a media blackout? I must have missed that.
