Rebel Wilson's Royal at the orgy

No thread about this yet? Surely it could only be Harry or Andrew? My money's on the former, because it was someone she was socialising with, and Andrew's too old.

Rebel Wilson says member of the royal family invited her to orgy

Rebel Wilson stops short of naming the royal in question, but states they were far removed from the line of succession and that the incident occurred in 2014.

But they are both higher up than 15th or 20th to the throne right?

Much higher. Especially back in 2014. It must be some random cousin no one has really heard of. In 2014 all the queen's children and grandchildren were above 15th in the line.

doggydaycarers · 22/04/2024 20:40

I think "15th or 20th" was deliberately misleading

OP posts:
Theimpossiblegirl · 22/04/2024 20:41

I agree, they're too high up. Did she specify a male?

BeaRF75 · 22/04/2024 20:42

I could have a good guess, but it's not fair to speculate by naming any individual. It will be someone much lower down the line of succession than Andrew.

You can’t just say she deliberately misled people to suit your agenda of it being Harry. 😅

User1979289 · 22/04/2024 20:46

She's a serial bullshitter selling a book, come on.

Aworldofmyown · 22/04/2024 20:47

I reckon it's Zaras brother.

ToBeOrNotToBee · 22/04/2024 20:47

She's deliberately vague, although my thoughts were to the Tindalls.

Ooops sorry - so she was being accurate and it was Zara Phillips or Sarah Chatto?

See the Line of Succession to the British Throne on 17 January 2014.

She doesn't seem to be one for toning down a story for the book, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit misleading in the other direction.

Not that I don't think Harry would - I don't know him, I've no idea. But I wouldn't assume it any more likely than a) her being broadly accurate about the position in the line of succession, or b) her making the person higher up in the line than they actually are.

cathyandclaire · 22/04/2024 20:48

In early 2014 Harry and Andrew were 4th and 5th in line to the throne, which is a long way off 15-20th. Surely if it was someone that high up she’d have leveraged the info in the book.

Aworldofmyown · 22/04/2024 20:47

Does he have any form for this sort of thing?

The only person that comes to mind is Harry.

I don't think she's saying they were literally either 15th or 20th. She's doing a virtual hand wave of "oh it was 15th or 20th, somewhere around there".

StMarieforme · 22/04/2024 20:54

I think Ms Wilson is very adept at garnering attention. They've removed the things about SBC from the UK book...

Perhaps he's as litigious as Harry?

Freddie Windsor lived in LA a bit. He is not high up though, currently 53rd. Maybe back then he is around 40 as many children were not born yet.

It could be many of them, how strange only Harry comes to mind.

I don’t think it’s one of the super well known ones and definitely not Andrew.

Me too. I think she's accusing Andrew and the succession position has been changed to disguise him.

If I'm wrong though, there's a man currently in the 18th spot.

AutumnCrow · 22/04/2024 21:03

She calls the royal person a 'guy' and a 'Windsor'.

LiterallyOnFire · 22/04/2024 21:06

I don't know why, because I'm not a fan of Rebel's, but my sympathy for her is growing. I think she's attracted some bad behaviour more than once and writing about it part of her attempt to exorcise it.

Have they really? Have they said why? I haven’t read it but I heard about the SBC stuff on a podcast and found it quite shocking.

TTPD · 22/04/2024 21:12

@FinallyPregnant23 our libel laws are different to America's and I think lean more towards the person being libelled. So I imagine they thought there was more chance of him successfully suing her over claims in a book published here?

12FreeRangeEggs · 22/04/2024 21:49

Oooo this came up at work today and apparently it is thought very unlikely to be Freddie Windsor. Those colleagues who are friends with his crowd say both him and his sister are considered ‘good sorts’ and his marriage has always seemed very happy.
