No thread about this yet? Surely it could only be Harry or Andrew? My money's on the former, because it was someone she was socialising with, and Andrew's too old.

Rebel Wilson says member of the royal family invited her to orgy

Rebel Wilson stops short of naming the royal in question, but states they were far removed from the line of succession and that the incident occurred in 2014.

Realise I mucked up my list a bit - sorry

James is now Earl of Wessex. Then when age 7, he was Viscount Severn

Savannah Phillips is now age 13 and was then 3
Isla Phillips is now 12 and was then 2

You would think all the focus would be on the tech host, the one throwing an orgy that she was in attendance of.. although I have heard these rumours before.

Quite.

Peter Phillips was my first thought, but I kind of love the idea of Princess Anne at a drug fuelled orgy.

If it was Harry, I think Rebel would have named him. She has talked about him before. She's too old for Andrew.

RhubarbAndGingerCheesecake · 23/04/2024 09:37

15th - 20th in the British line of succession in April 2014 (update at time of Lena Tindalls birth)

  • James, then Earl of Wessex (then age 7)
  • Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor (age 11)
  • The Princess Royal
  • Peter Phillips
  • Savannah Phillips (age 13)
  • Isla Phillips (age 12)

This says it's from Jan 2014- and has Peter Philips at 12 - and only male in list between 15-20 in line is then 52 year old David Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley Nephew of the sovereign who was at that time 17th in line- who I know nothing about at all.

Not sure show accurate it is -as haven't checked or verified and don't know succession of top of my head - it but you can apparently search any date and it will show you the line of succession at the time.

British Line of Succession on 17 January 2014

See the Line of Succession to the British Throne on 17 January 2014.

As PP said, she’s selling a book.

I’m usually a huge ‘believe until there’s proof to the contrary’ person. But given in the last month she’s dropped two huge bombshells that’s she’s apparently been hiding for years AND it coincides with the release of a book…hard to believe it’s true.

TeaCupSallie · 23/04/2024 09:48

How many more people will she throw under the bus, do you think?

Vespanest · 23/04/2024 09:52

The problem I have is not if I believe her or not but the implication that she adds 2+2 and gets 5. She was there but didn’t know it was an orgy, but assumes the royal knew it was an orgy, drugs were there but again doesn’t know or says if the royal took or knew the drugs would be present and then left before any of this was confirmed.

IAmGrey · 23/04/2024 09:55

Whilst the Royals are known to love a bit of Soho House, she is a known bullshitter.

CathyorClaire · 23/04/2024 10:52

Didn't take her that long to 'refuse to be silenced' first time round.

I expect we'll be told in due course and in the meantime.........Sales! 🤑

TeaCupSallie · 23/04/2024 10:56

I feel sorry for Isla Fisher.

NoisySnail · 23/04/2024 11:00

I believe her. Being invited to an orgy by a minor Royal is not that big a deal.

Vespanest · 23/04/2024 11:19

The rumours of the billionaire sex parties if true are a big thing, the rumours are rich men, supposedly including media and film execs pay (or for favours) for scouts to persuade young females many trying to get a career to A lister parties, the drugs are for the women to lose inhibitions. The problem I have with rebel is she provides no information that the royal was any the wiser than she was. Or if the information from the third party was serious or a joke. Naming people without naming them is a shit thing to do. Why focus on the royal than the host is baffling.

LuckysDadsHat · 23/04/2024 11:23

Peter Phillips was my initial thought.

Yeah, the identity of the host is far more interesting than some random minor royal - or even Harry really, to me at least. There are always rumours about these sort of parties, but who knows how true they are.

IsoldeWagner · 23/04/2024 07:26

Maybe it was some bloke from Dagenham who just told her he was a member of the royal family.

Remember the American TV dating show where people thought they were competing for a chance to marry Prince Harry and they believed it 😂😂😂

YaMuvva · 23/04/2024 12:35

LadyTottingham · 23/04/2024 08:44

Princess Anne 🤣🤣

I dunno, she’s a dark horse that one!

TeaCupSallie · 23/04/2024 13:01

I wanna marry Harry. The poor bloke knew he was going to be dumped as soon as he had to reveal who he was (n’t).

Temporaryanonymity · 23/04/2024 13:05

The only male around that position in the LoS at that time was David Armstrong Jones. I don’t really know enough about him to comment. But Freddie Windsor might fit, as he did live in the US.

ToBeOrNotToBee · 23/04/2024 13:29

David Armstrong Jones's wiki is interesting

In October and November 2007, rumours circulated on the internet suggesting that a member of the British royal family was the victim of blackmail. The first confirmation that the royal in the extortion attempt was Viscount Linley came from the journalist Nicholas Davies.[24] Ian Strachan and Sean McGuigan tried to extort £50,000 from Linley in September by threatening to release video footage showing sex acts and cocaine use (allegedly by Linley and a male royal aide) on a mobile phone.[24] Linley contacted the police. Strachan and McGuigan were arrested after showing their video footage to an undercover detective,[24] and at trial were sentenced to five years in prison.[25]

CactusMactus · 23/04/2024 13:37

If I was having a drug fuelled orgy, I'm not sure I would invite Rebel Wilson... but each to their own I guess.

BemusedAmerican · 23/04/2024 13:39

Good for Viscount Lindley standing up to blackmail!

2024please · 23/04/2024 13:42

Rebel who? 🤔

MushroomPizza · 23/04/2024 13:55

doggydaycarers · 22/04/2024 20:48

Does he have any form for this sort of thing?

The only person that comes to mind is Harry.

Wow. It’s completely on-brand for Prince Andrew but ok.

ARichtGoodDram · 23/04/2024 13:59

It could be any of the minor royal males. Earl Snowden (viscount linley back then) and Freddie Windsor were both known cocaine users.

Freddie Windsor basically said that they were all into it in the circles they moved in.

Peter Philips hasn’t been an angel. And there are umpteen windsors that could potentially fit the bill - especially as I doubt Rebel Wilson is able to recite the line of succession from the time spot on.

Given she named Baren-Cohen so openly I doubt she’d be being coy if it was a big name royal.

David was 25th in April 2014

Last time Frederick was in the first 30 was 2003
