It's not exactly shocking is it. I should imagine there have been a fair number of drug fuelled orgy parties in Hollywood over the years and I agree that saying that a member of the RF was there is to boost sales of her book. Not that it's necessarily untrue but she doesn't actually give any details. Loads of famous people were at parties at the Playboy mansion and I would imagine there were plenty of drug fuelled orgies going on there.
