No thread about this yet? Surely it could only be Harry or Andrew? My money's on the former, because it was someone she was socialising with, and Andrew's too old.

Rebel Wilson says member of the royal family invited her to orgy

Rebel Wilson stops short of naming the royal in question, but states they were far removed from the line of succession and that the incident occurred in 2014.

She also claims she was offered $2m to spend a weekend with a Jordanian Prince.

David was 25th in April 2014

Last time Frederick was in the first 30 was 2003

https://lineofsuccession.co.uk/2014-01-17?date=2014-04-01

This site has Xan Windsor, Lord Culloden being at 25 succession place on 1st April 2014 and David Armstrong at 17- so either a site claiming to show succession for any date is wrong - which is possible though tad OTT for it to exist in first place.

However it does can of illustrate ARichtGoodDram point that it's hugely unlikely Rebel Wilson is able to recite the line of succession from that time spot on - and as they are unnamed probably because they aren't really known.

I wonder if Tech billionaire hosting is a well known name - I mean guests may have attended by accident as apparently Rebel Wilson claims to.

I’m on a long and very boring train journey so using excel to delete people born after 2014 (please don’t judge - I’m very very very bored!) the adult males from Peter Philips to Freddie Windsor in the line of succession at that point were

12 Peter Phillips
17 David Armstrong Jones
22 Samuel Chatto (almost 18 - almost certainly too young)
24 Duke of Gloucester (just no 😂)
24 Alexander Windsor, Earl of Ulster
33 Duke of Kent (an amusing image but no 😂)
35 George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews
> Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick (old enough, but not in the line due to becoming Catholic)
> Nicholas Windsor (old enough, but not in the line due to becoming Catholic)
40 Columbus Taylor
41 Cassius Taylor
44 Prince Michael of Kent (again a funny image but no 😂)
45 Freddie Windsor

Yep, book to sell.

BemusedAmerican · 23/04/2024 14:53

@ARichtGoodDram I am impressed!

@ARichtGoodDram I am impressed!

To be fair I simply copied into excel and deleted the ones born after April 2014

I am that bored 😂

ARichtGoodDram · 23/04/2024 15:00

I am now quite amused at the mental image of the Dukes of Gloucester and Kent raving it up at this party though!

I see. Massive shovel of salt, then.

Their fathers certainly did. Maybe that kind of thing always skips (at least) a generation?

TBF, we know that happens, don't we? Some posters are discounting it because she was outsized, but I'm sure there are many men (and princes) who like that and don't care about western beauty standards when arranging secret assignations.

NoisySnail · 23/04/2024 16:14

Rebel Wilson is attractive. There are people who are attracted to fat women.

Sorry, my bad. I must have refreshed the page and it must have defaulted to today's line.

David would indeed be in the frame, but Freddie is way further down.

like others, I think the identity of the host is more important than the identity of a royal guest who, like the author of the article, may or may not have know the full range of things on offer at the party in advance, and who may or may not have left before things got wild (if indeed they did - as author left, we've only her account of a comment by waiting staff to go on)

coxesorangepippin · 23/04/2024 16:22

Rebel who?

Rebel Yell

I’ll go.

Checked with husband and he’s fine with it.

Menomeno · 23/04/2024 16:26

In 2014 the succession line was very different to now (no females) She also called him a ‘minor royal’ so can’t be Harry. 15th or 20th would be Peter Phillips/Freddie Windsor territory.

Delphiniumandlupins · 23/04/2024 16:37

Unless she googled I really doubt she would know the line of succession to 20 places, even my fiercely Royalist granny would have struggled. So, if the story's true, I imagine it means "someone in the line but not close" but it could mean "someone well down the list who liked to impress Americans by claiming to be close-ish to the throne".

Wasn't the line of succession rule changed before George was born because William/Kate didn't want the daft boy-girl divide?

BoohooWoohoo · 23/04/2024 16:41

I don’t think it’s someone as high up as Harry or Andrew but I agree that the “15th or 20th” could be an exaggeration of the person’s rank in the Line of Succession.

RhubarbAndGingerCheesecake · 23/04/2024 16:42

In 2014 the succession line was very different to now (no females)

Brothers' came before sisters -and still do if born before 2013 but women could still be higher in succession than male cousins depending on where their parent was.

Some thrones weren't like that - French crown didn't go through female line at all - and not sure about Hanoverian position but they couldn't have female in role that's why Victoria was not Elector of Hanover as well as Queen of England like her immediate predecessors.

It wasn’t ‘no females’ in the line, they just took lower precedence to any younger brothers they had in the line of succession, plus the change wasn’t retrospective so it wasn’t that different

The discussions about that change started long before William and Kate married tbh.

I believe her. Being invited to an orgy by a minor Royal is not that big a deal.

Well, we've all been there, haven't we? I was at St Custard's with a minor royal. Lovely girl, but dangerous while in possession of a hockey bat.

MummyJ12 · 23/04/2024 17:02

If the SBC bits have been removed from the U.K. version then she needs another victim and story to peddle her book over here. Not buying her story or her book.

When I was a young filly most standard weekends were a whirl of straightforward shooting parties and orgies with royals

Ah yes, those Upper Sixth exeat weekends were such a joy after a gruelling three weeks of French culinary vocab and tennis
