There's lots of speculation from some sources, some unhinged, some less so.

And where have you seen this?

Show me a link to a less unhinged source that says this.

No. I just heard on the radio they're looking at getting him involved in Trooping the Colour in June. If he was dead the media would be all over it and there wouldn't be any other news (or that's what usually happens).

I think you could be reasonably certain that the Beeb would publish this.

Stand down.

Charles?

TikTok thinks Catherine is dead.

Personally I hope that no one is dead.

Apparently there's a superinjunction put in place by the RF until Wednesday, which suggests they're about to announce something, but no suggestion that it involves Charles directly.

No.

The royals insistence on secrecy around Kate is at this point causing a ridiculous amount of speculation.

They should allow a photo of her being seen somewhere, just getting out a car and walking into a building or something, to stop all the gossiping!

No. Charles is not dead. Do you not remember the hoo-ha the BBC and other media made when Liz died??! They think it’s so important that they immediately drop all other news items and report only that for about a week.

He actually died several months ago - Jeremy Hunt said another bank holiday would be disastrous for the economy so they're keeping it quiet, just feeding the great unwashed the cancer story as an explanation of why he's not seen in public.

Don’t be ridiculous. Please go and put your energy into something more important than conspiracy theories. You know what happens when the monarch dies, we’ve only just been through it.

No, conspiracy theorists and muppets, stirred up by ‘journalists’ are causing a ridiculous amount of speculation .

Strange thread. The King dying would be front page news around the world.

I must say I can’t get my head around the Kate thing. How does some shoddy photoshopping suggest that William is having an affair? Maybe I’m missing something.

No one is dead.

It's ridiculous, sick of hearing about it. I find it really embarrassing to live here when the press gets like this.

If there was a superinjunction, nobody would be able to mention that there’s an injunction. Ergo, it doesn’t exist, like many people’s critical faculties.

How ridiculous. What is this weird obsession with people hoping for some terrible drama in the royal family? Concentrate on your own life, not other people's lives.

Absolutely no, and he's apparently planning to be at the Trooping the Colour later this year if he feels well enough. He will go in a carriage or by car rather than on a horse.

How do you think they would manage that if he was dead?

These rumours about him and Kate are beyond ridiculous now.

That's not how a superinjunction works.

Don't be daft. Do you remember how stage managed the queen's death was? News reports of her being gravely ill etc, to build it up over several days when they must have known she was approaching the end.

I’d be quite happy if twitter and TikTok would die. That can only be a good thing.
