There's lots of speculation from some sources, some unhinged, some less so.

OP posts:
maximist · 18/03/2024 10:51

They're all dead. Everybody's dead, Dave. Everybody is dead.

SallyWD · 18/03/2024 10:51

Of course he's not dead! So now Catherine's been spotted alive and well people are coming up with even more far fetched conspiracy theories?

RhubarbGingerJam · 18/03/2024 10:52

Surely in first instance you'd check a reputable new source like BBC news - sky news - one of the big main stream news outlets first as it would be all over them.

We've not long lost a monarch - so we actually know how it gets announced.

taxguru · 18/03/2024 10:52

Oh God not another nutcase!

We had all this for months/years before the Queen died, with various nutcases claiming she was dead and lots of other nutcases believing it.

In reality, it was all over the mainstream media within an hour or two of her real death, with news coverage about her being seriously ill, images of other Royals arriving at Balmoral etc just beforehand. No attempt at secrecy at all, no conspiracy at all.

I wish people would engage their few tiny brain cells remaining before they start to believe all this conspiracy crap.

Tothemanorborne · 18/03/2024 10:52

Dear God

The Royal family must be vaguely amused by their subjects at the minute. Two are on sick leave and half of the country are behaving like 3 year olds who’ve lost their Mum in Tesco 🙄

Thedogscollar · 18/03/2024 10:53

No. I spoke with him earlier. He sends his regards.

MississippiAF · 18/03/2024 10:54

My god. People have gone insane. This is what 24-hour news and daily (hourly!) Covid updates have done to people.

No news = meltdowns.

Prawncow · 18/03/2024 10:55

It’s only certain parts of the media but they’re definitely stirring things up. It’s clickbait. It’s what they do when they really want to write about something but can’t. They want to write about whatever surgery Kate had and the royal family has said no. They will have paid, hacked or bugged their way to the details but they can’t publish it. What they can do is stir up ‘public feeling’ so that the family is pressured into making a statement.

KateMiskin · 18/03/2024 10:55

Oh FFS

IWFH · 18/03/2024 10:56

Of course Charles isn't dead.
He's been spotted in a double-decker bus on the moon having a chat with Elvis.

IAmThe1AndOnly · 18/03/2024 10:57

I know for a fact that …

there are a lot of supremely thick halfwhits on this as well as other sites.

ChiefEverythingOfficer · 18/03/2024 10:58

Can we report absolute bollocks threads and ask for them to be deleted?

If MNHQ just put their foot down, maybe the fools will stop posting crap.

#edit have reported, let's see what happens.

Uricon2 · 18/03/2024 10:59

Some of this stuff resembles the batshit rumours among Trump supporters years ago that JFK junior was alive and about to appear at Dealey Plaza and then when that didn't happen, at a Rolling Stones concert.

It was pretty obvious on the day of the Queen's death that something was happening but that was discernible from all mainstream news media, not the raving kooks on Twatter and Tiktok

Forget keeping it real, keep it sane, FGS.

Ihearyousingingdownthewire · 18/03/2024 11:01

Ok. Everyone has officially lost the fucking plot.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 18/03/2024 11:01

This is getting ridiculous.

WandaWonder · 18/03/2024 11:01

Is that code for one of the corgis?

BarrelOfOtters · 18/03/2024 11:02

None of the Royal Family are alive, not for years, it's all lookalikes and cardboard cut outs. For the sake of the tourist economy. They have statutory fag breaks.

Thegoodbadandugly · 18/03/2024 11:02

No I don't think he's dead but perhaps his cancer is terminal.

ThatWriterInTheCorner · 18/03/2024 11:03

King Charles is not dead. He is the head of state, and that position has constitutional implications so his death would have to be announced pretty damn smart-ish. The Cabinet would be notified, everyone in Parliament would drop everything to deal with the orderly transfer of responsibilities and it would be blindingly obvious to everyone even before the announcement.

The Princess of Wales's death would not (I don't think) have any constitutional implications, so there would be no legal imperative to announce it. But it seems pretty unlikely. It would be a major news story, and any agreement to keep it quiet would probably only hold for a few hours - almost certainly not days. So it's highly unlikely that she is dead either.

What on earth makes you think they might be dead?

Fifiesta · 18/03/2024 11:03

Absolute mass hysteria …if you’ve ever wondered how discredited politicians get re elected, look no further than the idiots peddling this shite, and the space cadets that swallow it🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

ChiefEverythingOfficer · 18/03/2024 11:04

Thegoodbadandugly · 18/03/2024 11:02

No I don't think he's dead but perhaps his cancer is terminal.

That is the most distasteful thing on here today, besides the OP.

Some things are best left as a thought, inside your head. This is a human being you are speculating about. Shame on you.

Fast800 · 18/03/2024 11:05

All the royal family are dead. It’s going to be like the 1990’s film King Ralph.

AllyCart · 18/03/2024 11:06

YABU

I’d be quite happy if twitter and TikTok would die. That can only be a good thing.

Absolutely! And take insta and FB with them.
