That’s an old picture, you can tell as the tree in the background is full of green leaves some of which look like they are turning brown. Probably taken last autumn

As their father took the photo , I assume he made some sort of joke ? I have lots of photos of my DC and DGC laughing and - shock- showing their teeth !

It's a really lovely photo but I doubt it's current, mainly because of the greenery in the background.
