Part 4 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports.

Someone somewhere will be getting hoppy about the footwear I reckon. A sturdy wedge heel might have made for easier walking.

The top half of the outfit is very flattering from the front. The back looks oddly bulky.

Undecided on the bottom has it seems to swamp her. Lovely, light and breezy on a warm day though.

As someone who clearly adores her animals, I wonder how she feels about how polo players treat their horses? And that does include her husband.

They wouldn't be my choice for an event on grass!

OTOH, it's not unreasonable. IIRC Diana always wore flats (but she often did, so she wasn't made taller than Charles). Kate wears flats when casual and when a bit dressier then usually wedges but sometimes heels (usually a bit lower/wider than her vertiginous ones, so perhaps they feel low/safe in contrast!)

I think the outfit suited the weather but not sure it suited the occasion, certainly not ideal footwear.

Does anyone know if the horses were all OK?

Dunno who else was on the podium, but so far it seems among the 300 or so others in attendance were H&M's close friends Nacho Figueras (H's brother in polo) his wife Delfina and their daughter Alba (who got the hug treatment from Meg), Serena Williams.

Meg's dress is from Heidi Merrick (now sold out, bien sur!)

I really like the colour of what Delfina is wearing though I struggle with jump suits (hate having to take everything off to have a wee)

I love Delfina's suit too. She also always looks nice. (also yay colour!!!) Though I think it may be a two peice set? If my eyes don't deceive me, it looks like it's separated at the middle?

Can someone explain to me please why the writer who penned this Hello Magazine piece says 'The Duke of Sussex went head-to-head against his friend, Nacho Figueras' when I am looking at the photos and thinking that they were/are on the same team?

Is it my use of English that is lacking - am I misunderstanding a colloquialism? Have I developed face blindness? Answers please on a postcard. Thanking you kindly.

... agree, Delfina's looks like it may be a 2-piecer. I also think jumpsuits are a pain, especially when you have to visit public bathrooms...

Meg's is apparently a dress though - called "The Ginger". She must've chosen it on purpose to give a hidden message... as she does.... 😂

Tbh Hello Mag only ever raves, it doesn't do nuance or criticism. It is a celeb mag not a fashion mag

In the interests of accuracy i have looked at Hello Mags website. They have an article on Meghan kissing Harry after a polo match. But their article headlined '32 best dressed celebrities in April 2024' doesn't include Meghan. Perhaps it will be updated?

I think some aspects suit her figure, but there is a lot of fussiness that could have been left out, and she would have looked fabulous.

The shoes weren't appropriate to the event

I love this dress!

The top is perfect for her.

The bottom is too bulky but overall it's a fabulous dress.

Flats would be better. I'm short though too so I get it.
