Part 2 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports.

I do agree, however I think there is a benchmark on where it can go too far, but generally and, for the most part on MN, it’s just posters getting annoyed about opposing views and being challenged on their perspective of what we are all exposed to by the media.

I can’t find an archived version but a few years ago now a reporter recreated a pap photograph of Kate (it might have been the topless one but I could be misremembering). And they showed where she was when it was taken and where the camera was, and it was so far away it was actually frightening. It’s a very intrusive business.

Thanks for your help however I am replying to another poster about the intrusiveness of how paparazzi photos are taken in the context of those recently taken of Meghan & family on holiday.

Please can you DM me if you need an explanation in future? Otherwise it derails the conversation & I think all of these posts-about-what-other-posters-are-posting-about were annoying to skip past & are actually what is contributing to the confusion.

The Meghan ones from Costa Rica are all grainy (and Lilli is in them!) so I think it must be a similar situation. I bet they’re gutted.

The smaller the place the more everyone knows ( I don't mean Costa Rica as a country). When Diana used to go to the exclusive K Club in Barbuda everyone knew.

OK, so the bad news first: The COS sweater in this colorway sold out immediately as nearly everything Markle wears tends to do. But the good news is that we found a few alternatives that feature the same crewneck style and come in a similar blue.
For example, this cashmere option from Uniqlo ($80) which happens to be a third of the price of the sweater Markle wears. We also like this alternative from Nordstrom ($149; $100) which again comes in cashmere and at an affordable price point, too.
To wear it like Markle, simply French tuck it into denim and pop on a pair of white sneakers. Sunglasses are optional, but encouraged. (For this particular video, Markle wore the ‘Triomphe’ style from Céline.)
One final PSA: If you love the OG COS sweater worn by Markle, you can still snag the exact same style, but in a different colorway. (Black and gray are both still in stock.)

I really don't understand why people rush out and buy stuff because some celebrity is wearing something. I find it a bit odd. Let's be honest Rachel looks a mess in those baggy trousers.

I hope they all enjoyed their holiday, it's a shame the photos were taken. Everyone deserves privacy.

Personally I don't think anyone looks good in those ultra baggy trousers, and I'm now bored with the caramel tone trend, so that outfits a No from me. Her hair and makeup were lovely.

Me too! I think the reference to 'girl' made me assume Lilibet, not her mother in her 40s! Surely she (Meghan) deserves the dignity of being a 'woman' not a 'girl'?! She looks amazing as an adult woman!

The colour looks beautiful on Meghan and the other woman, but I too am getting a bit bored of the latte trend.

I was also bored quickly of the grey and nude palette that was popular and everywhere.

I hope 2024 brings back interesting colourful fashion. I'll start and ring in the New Year with a new bright lipstick!
