Part 2 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports.

There is signficant interest in whatever level formal actress she is (be it C list, D list or Z list). This interest is because she is married to the son of the current King of the United Kingdom. There is interest because many believe that she is a driver for the son of the King to have left the working Royal Family. There is also interest because of a press driven narrative of rivalry between this woman and her sister in law insofar if any of them do something, there will be a picture or summit used to as a counter. This woman drives clicks and engagement - it is makes absolute business sense from an editorial perspective to look for content from her.

I agree but if I was in the midst of a controversy I wouldn't be prancing about a car park. 😂

I see - your premise is that you presume she is in the midst of a controversy. And as such, she should not go to the gym and walk back to her car because of it. Interesting. How long should she stay indoors and locked away for?

I HOPE her PR team arranged this pap photo - though I doubt it - to send a clear message that she isn't going to get drawn into the Endgame hysteria, despite the RF and British media's pathetic attempts to force her and Harry to "make statements defending XYZ royal", thereby drawing out the nonsense for days on end and generating more and more clicks and articles and posts from people who are obsessed with bad-mouthing H&M.

Live on, Meghan! And do get spotted at a few more charity events, celebrity concerts and whatnot - we love'em, outfits, messages and all!

I have explained why a photo of Meghan is sought after but you missed out answering that.
It is current news. It is clickbait. Articles about H&M are a multi million pound industry.
So maybe those 'real celebrities' as you call them, are just not so interesting in the news industry at the moment.

The picture chosen for editorial puposes was one of her smiling. There are a series of pictures in which she isn't smiling the whole time during her walk to the car - one of them is below. She is talking to her companion and smiles whilst she is doing so. There is also video of the whole event on the Daily Mail . I also linked several pictures of celebrities on each individual word in my previous post - each of them in various states.

im really glad to see her out and about smiling(don't give a shit if its a set up shot) the poor woman is hounded and bullied on sm and in the press(and on mn she is bullied outrageously) so for me its great that she is ok.
I can't wear hats of any kind as I get a headache.

The series of pap shots I linked show that all of these well off people can't arrange it that people can't get pictures of them doing various activities.

Meghan is just smiling as she is talking and walking to her car. How it can be called anything else is beyond me

I don't loathe her because I don't know her. I don't like some of her behaviour though. She's hurt a lot of people and doesn't seem to care. I do find her fascinating . She has everything a lot of people would love to have but it's never enough.

I disagree on the 'hurting a lot of people' but there you go... we are all entitled to our opinions.

But we all hurt people in our lives. We wouldn't be human if we didn't but you seem to think that Meghan is incapable of wrong doing. It's a very strange position to take.

I think both he and her have done some remarkably stupid things. But I also don't think they deserve to be the arch enemies of the world and spoken about like they are. Continually. My MH would be in the toilet if I had to put up with what Meghan puts up with. Even you on here! She smiles whilst walking and talking a few yards to a car, and you think she is a disgusting human being!

I, for one, definitely don’t think that Meghan is incapable of doing anything wrong or making mistakes. She is human. I do not think that anything she has done, however, would warrant taking her walking, talking and smiling to someone on the way to a car as an affront. It’s really strange and is demonstrative of the public monstering of this woman.

But that's not the point. She's at the centre of a serious controversy. What is there to laugh about? It's just not funny.
