Just a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the Princess of Wales' fab outfits and some of the many great causes she supports.

I absolutely love this green suit, which she wore on Tuesday in Leeds

Princess Kate's affordable chunky gold necklace is the ultimate cool-girl accessory

The Princess of Wales rocked a piece by New York-based jewellery label Laura Lombardi that's perfect for for everyday

I think it’s partly down to genes! My husband has a full thick head of grey hair but his brother is bald as a coot, their dad is bald but the men on their mums side have a full head too, I think it’s a mix!

I believe Diana’s side still have hair but the Windsor’s are all bald ( or very nearly )

I'm not a Royalist but I've always loved her style. It is so simple and understated but distinctive. Love the chain and the suit colour.

The Princess of Wales is visiting the Vsi Razom Ukrainian community hub at a shopping centre in Bracknell, Berkshire, to show support for refugees and aid efforts to the people of Ukraine.

I love that she’s trying something different style wise. She looks lovely and cozy.

I love a bald man and the Prince of Wales looks better now than he ever did. TBH though I rarely notice as he has such a handsome engaging smiley face.

This has little to do with Catherine, Princess of Wales, except that I expect he speaks to her sometimes, but a journalist once made a comment, not about Charles's looks, but about his voice, which I find pleasant to listen to.

His hair sure curls on his collar.

I think you have got the Princes of Wales mixed up?

Yes. I forgot for a moment that Charles and William both got a bit of promotion a year last month!😁I was replying to the post on the last page!

I've been fairly good at remembering 'late Queen', 'King' et cetera, but I lost it there.

What a gorgeous look. I really prefer her in more relaxed styles, and this is a perfect example of smart casual. I think she's going more for trousers for comfort and simplicity. No doubt tired of all those gusts of wind and the flyaway dress hems!

Howsimplywonderful · 04/10/2023 21:45

i love the jumper she’s wearing

Ineedwinenow · 04/10/2023 22:52

How does she manage to pull off a tank top!!!! The world is a cruel place 😆

wordler · 04/10/2023 23:29

I really like it - I wonder if she’s had all these different looks she wanted to try out but felt the late Queen wouldn’t have liked.

Maybe they all are a bit - Sophie Wessex was in leather the other day

Ineedwinenow · 04/10/2023 23:37

Yeah she looks great! She’s definitely moved on from those awful flowery grandma dresses ( sorry Catherine and sorry to my grandma .. ) so you could be right?? ooh I didn’t know Sophie wore leather, off to google now 🤩

If I wore a tank top I know I’d resemble Raj from Big Bang Theory so I won’t even bother to try..

queentim · 05/10/2023 02:12

Oh geez. I really dislike Kate's outfits these past days.

They seem too baggy and unfitteed, and the colours don't do anything for her, with her complexion. Especially the grey outfit, the vest and pants look odd together with the different mix of textures.

Never thought I'd see the day where I'd miss a coatdress from her or two.

ALittleTeawithmilk · 05/10/2023 04:00

Taste certainly differ. 🙂If I never saw one of those coat dresses again I’d not miss it. (Kate could recycle/restyle them as coats opened over a shirt and trousers, though. No doubt they luxurious quality.).

I liked the grey vest and pants with the white shirt. I thought it was a smart casual look. When younger and thinner, I used to dress similarly - plain lines, comfortable and practical - so I’m probably biased about this.

Parakeetamol · 05/10/2023 04:06

Tell me you have a nanny without telling me - a crisp white ironed shirt without marmite or peanut butter on it.

Mylovelygreendress · 05/10/2023 06:49

Or maybe she just got ready once the children had gone to school ??
I too had 3 young DC and don’t remember turning up anywhere with marmite or peanut butter smeared on me ….

upinaballoon · 05/10/2023 08:21

Thank you for reminding me of what we used to call them - tank tops. I had been trying to remember the words.

This. And if I did ever wear a white shirt when DC were small and it had something on it, it was very likely that I had dropped it on myself 😆

Same here. I like her understated style on the whole.

colourwheelofortune · 05/10/2023 20:13

She definitely looks great even in tracksuit bottoms and a sports top. I went to the gym today in gym gear (leggings and loose t shirt) and looked like a bag lady.

I read she has got some honey highlights in her hair? I think very dark hair can be a bit harsh as you get older so the soft warm honey tones would be perfect. She doesn't yet look haggard and probably never will with her genes but its a good idea to soften everything over 40.

DustSalad · 06/10/2023 18:40

It's funny how she always lightens her hair at the start of autumn. Wheareas most folk would do it at the start of summer?!

It's wonderfully subtle I have to say.

BeaBachinasec · 07/10/2023 13:08

Some if you are so self deprecating! You can praise Kate without running yourselves down with misplaced humour.

She's a statuesque millionaire princess so she has a lot of advantages!
