I agree with @ALittleTeawithmilk that it’s all very well lauding long grey hair, but most of us do not possess the sort of hair which remains thick and “put uppable” . I used to have nice hair; in the last couple of years it has gone really fine. No up-dos for me Sad

Celebrities - especially older ones - rarely have unassisted hair. They are full of plugs and extensions. I think the Middletons as a family are quite “hairy” so Kate is lucky. Also she’s not that old!

Oh Oprah is 70 now and she has great hair. So does Diana Ross in her 80s. (I follow her daughter on Instagram. She’s a lot of fun). I saw a pic of Bo Derek recently rocking long grey straight hair which looked good. She’s in her 60s too, I think.

I agree Oprah and Diana Ross both look fabulous - but I thought they both wore wigs??

Have I been completely wrong for years?

I have crap hair. It’s so fine it just sits there feeling sorry for itself and no amount of hairdryer or stying products can change its attitude towards gravity.

If I had hair like that I’d be going as long and swishy as my team of hairdressers would let me.

I think Catherine looks amazing. Her style is just classic and some of her evening looks are just wow.

She has naturally thick “good” her but she does wear a clip in thing for up do’s (but all hairdressers add those for that style). She also varies between having the teeny tiny high quality bonded extensions and using some tape ones for being on screen (you can’t wear them out and about really as they cab be seen - the tiny bonded ones can’t). Her thick glossy hair is very much her crowning glory so she adds to it as 99% of all similar age / style glam female celebs / public figures.

So disappointed she won't be attending Earthshot. Was so looking forward to some amazing glamour in a gloomy November! I'm sure it would have raised the profile of the prize but William will be just fine by himself.

I’m gutted she’s not going to Earthshot too! I’ll admit I wasn’t too fond of that green dress last year but I’ve grown to appreciate it. She looked phenomenal and whilst the dress isn’t my style she looked so effortlessly glam. I adored pairing it with Diana’s choker.

Earthshot is such an important and worthwhile cause, I know I shouldn’t be fixating on clothes and jewellery. But I’m such a magpie. I love glamour 🥰

William was sooo handsome in his youth.

I think he should have used Regaine or similar.
Do you inherit the "baldness" gene from your Mum or Dad ?

@LadyEloise1 he still is handsome. I don't get this thinking that lack of hair is unattractive?

(Just thinking of Mark Strong, Jason Statham, Dwyane Johnston etc).

Personally I find vanity a much more unattractive trait in a person, so a man who has accepted & embraced their baldness is far more attractive then someone who tries to cover it up IMO 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love a bald man and the Prince of Wales looks better now than he ever did. TBH though I rarely notice as he has such a handsome engaging smiley face.
