Apparently Meg said ‘but she’s not even Queen’!

This is just hilarious - a not very well known actress with a secondary role in a Canadian TV show thought she was on a par with a future Queen and mother of a future King after being in the RF for a few minutes. This was early in the relationship as well.

Seems like the old green eyes was at the crux of all this nonsense after all!

So this isn't actual fact since you said apparently she said this. So it could all be made up and yet your here to bash a women and mock her over something you don't know is actually true.

It's in an article in The Telegraph written by the Royal correspondent Camilla Tominey who has put it in quote marks so she must be confidant about her source. It is quite funny:

Suffice to say the notion of her soon-to-be sister-in-law receiving preferential treatment did not, it is claimed, go down well with Meghan, especially as she “wasn’t even Queen”.

Ha ha, this is a subject being reported on and talked about by many purely because the subjects made a documentary and Harry released a highly publicised book saying how badly treated his wife was.

There is an article in the Telegraph today detailing it. I don’t particularly care about any of them but it’s interesting to see the other side and I have a free evening to read the news!

If it’s true it’s not as if it’s something unique to the RF. Most organisations have an hierarchy of some description including the acting world. Publicity photoshoots give dress selection and prominent placements to the stars of the projects and not to the lower credited co-stars. In terms of the RF Kate is higher up the list of credits than Meghan

Yes, that's weird and actually very unfair. I didn't accuse anyone of being a troll or a sock. I just said that when I saw this OP, I expected it to be by someone else.

Of all the designers to fall out over Erdem is not the one....in my very unstylish view everything Kate has worn from them has made her look like an 80's sofa. If this is true, Kate did Meghan a favour.

There are several designers whose clothes are worn by various royal women. So I doubt very much he wouldn't make clothes for her. Though of course existing clients wouldn't be de-prioritised. Would that be what she didn't like?

Possibly she wanted to order the same garment that Kate had already bought.

That one was a total monstrosity. She has worn some nice (IMO) Erdem - there was a floral at the Chelsea Flower show and one witha kind of prince of wales-esque check and an asymmetric neckline (terrible description, will try to find)

But the 70s sofa prints are bleurgh - and she has a habit of choosing them when she's pregnant too which gives real Kim K at the met gala vibes!

There were articles years ago quoting Meghan's team saying that they couldnt get designers to dress her when she first started on Suits and still found it hard further years into Suits, because no one knew who she was. They basically found it very hard to get free clothes for her as she wasnt well known.
Then she got with harry and I guess she thought it would all change. Given she went years struggling to get designers to want her, this must have been a sore spot and that's why it was a big deal to her.

The Duchess of Kent wore Erdem to HaM's wedding with trainers. She looked ace!

I would imagine that before Meghan met Harry, even if she bought from this designer, that Kate was already top priority for the designer because of her status and press attention to anything she wears. Every other client and Meghan would not have known it.
Meg moves in, expects that her new found status would mean she is top priority only to find out there is a barrier in her way - Kate.
Tantrum triggers, moans to Paranoid Harry, tears etc.
