I thought I recall there being a few Ragland relatives who seemed very fond of Meghan and said lovely things about her when interviewed.

Yes, some relatives were tracked down, but they admitted that they never met Doria or Meghan. They liked what they saw on TV etc. regarding them and wished them well, but that was it. They never met them.

From what I have seen online, I think there was mention of Doria's aunt and a distant cousin who is a young graphic designer from NY. Both were said to have been at the wedding, but tbh, I did not follow this up much, so I cannot verify. It was reported that they both knew Doria, but not Meghan that much. You have to have doubts of course, considering that it's said they don't talk to the media.

That is all he paid for. He private high school. As any parent should Wrong again, he is not obliged to pay for a very expensive private school , nor was he obliged to pay for Samantha s business or give his son money, they were both adults.

Most people with gambling issue wouldn’t even think about sharing a tiny portion of their winnings , they would gamble it all away again.

In that case, he should have left her at a state school.

I don't know if Doria got an invite - I hope so, it's the polite thing to do and I imagine the RF like to follow societal rules on those things. The idea that the RF wouldn't follow strict societal protocols for wedding invitations blows my mind
Anyway all this is just a distraction from the fact that Meghan and Harry were less than honest in their account of their dealings with Omid Scobie and the other author of Finding Freedom.

I have no idea if she remembers or not.

Whether she remembers or not, she must not have thought herself collaborating, and chances are that anyone who is not negative against her would have got a similar brief, if they asked.

New details emerge from the Meghan/MoS Court of Appeal case today - revealing just how Jason Knauf came to break ranks to provide his witness statement. At first he adopted a 'strictly neutral' position, court papers show, and declined to help the MoS.

That position remained the same in April 2021, after Meghan had already won summary judgment in the High Court. But at the end of July, the MoS received 'information from a confidential source' indicating Knauf 'regretted not providing a witness statement'

Knauf by now had changed solicitors from the firm that had previously represented him and three others known as 'the Palace Four'. The MoS then approached him directly. This time he agreed to provide a witness statement

I think it very strange that Harry hadn't even met TM before the wedding, also that he was sending texts to a man he didn't know in place of his wife. It was Meghan's place to be in touch with her father, not Harry's. I know she tried too, but I can't imagine why she was asking Harry to text her father when they had no relationship with each other and had never met about quite personal matters. I'm sure he was very hurt that he hadn't met Harry. If he hadn't had an invite either, that would have compounded things.

Somehow I can’t see a case fir perjury being made out against MM or JK’s evidence having much impact in determining the final outcome, even if ANL does get the summary judgement set aside.

Yes. She got a scroll at the time of the engagement. It was well documented.

If they hadn’t brought this court case (against palace advice) the whole letter fiasco would yesterdays news and today’s chip paper.

They both seem so focused on ensuring their ‘truth’/view/story is the only one out there that they seem to have tunnel vision and be unable to see the larger picture.

It was odd that Doria only flew in a day or so before the wedding, with such a massive occasion I'd have thought it was normal for the bride's parents to come at least a week ahead.

They don't get a lot of annual leave in America. Maybe she'd used it all.

I’d agree with this. Giving the letter to the papers was shitty and I felt sorry for her over it. I still do feel sorry for her over her father, him giving interviews etc must be horrible. But it would have been forgotten, and now, while I think TM has behaved awfully, I feel a bit less sorry for her over the whole “I’ll say daddy so it tugs at heart strings” and “forgetting” about the FF book stuff. Why drag it all up. Most people have forgotten about it, and it’s not like it was something that even made her look bad.
