Finlay only hunts small things - he’s such a baby!
Previous Dcats tried anything including squirrels - often only found the tail as evidence!
Rabbits quite common too and the occasional mole
The worst was a huge black bird not sure of type - I have no idea how they got it through the cat flap - but bird had escaped and was perched on top of one of the kitchen cupboards - absolutely terrified me as I hate the flapping
I had to enlist the neighbours who helped me catch it in a bed sheet and set it free

And yet, it did.
Got out of bed this morning and collapsed on the floor. Very dizzy.
Unable to reach the emergency cord or my phone.
Managed (in agony) to get up, staggered to the bathroom, then landed on the floor again. Could have reached the cord in the bathroom but didn't. Don't know why, I should have done........
Got back to bed and fell asleep again.

Woke up three hours later, phoned DD2.. Still dizzy, but less so, and didn't fall over this time.

Didn't hit my head but now covered in bruises. DD2 came straight round (she worked for London Ambulance for four years) and advised me to spend the day in bed and call 999 if I felt dizzy again.
Also to make GP appt ASAP.

Oh god Broon that sounds bloody scary! But so glad you got first-rate advice. Any new meds that could have caused the dizziness?

No, I'm definitely going to start using mine. I'll ask the warden to get me one of the ones that you wear round your wrist. The pendant one would be a bother in bed at night, because I'd probably keep lying on it in my sleep, and set it off.

That would please the careline company..... me setting the thing off ten times a night.

Have found that I have actually got a wristband to the careline, so I checked it was working and am now wearing it.

EmpressaurusKitty Elephant kitty is adorable. It's so nice to see one in their natural habitat too, high up in the "trees". I believe that's why they are so elusive as nobody thinks to look upwards.

Pianoaholic Get him some satiety biscuits as they might help with the losing weight/killing huge beasties dynamic. My previous rescue liked bringing wildlife in but she preferred to hide and then punch squirrels in the face or smack the backsides of foxes as they ran away. Fiesty little thing, but miss her terribly .
