Finally managed to get on mumsnet on my phone and catch up with thread.

Herbie is being a real pain going after our food at the moment. He sits up at the table with us and often tries to get on the table. We have been told to slightly reduce dry food so he doesn't get too chunky!
Also, he brought in a dead magpie the other evening 😥

I'm not a vet but I suspect these two paragraphs might be linked. Bit of a head scratcher though 🤔😅 I shouldn't laugh as The Stray is starting to have ripples under her fur so we might be joining you😬

Boris has actually lost some weight since he seems to have decided that he's gone off all the normal food sachets. This is after incessantly pestering me for food, so my guess is he's bored of them. The vet did do blood checks which were fine and he'll still eat the biscuits. I think I'm going to have to take Untamed cat food up on their special offer they keep sending me. I can add it to my ever growing collection of different types of pouches that Boris deems no longer suitable for cats. 🙄

Herbie has started growling as he eats his wet food (if anyone is slightly near him!).
I can assure him that I have no wish to eat his food.

He is now crunching the dry food more as we switched to royal canin. The biscuits are larger so cats have to crunch them not swallow them and hopefully that helps their teeth. At least his teeth were OK on last vet visit.

Not tried him on Untamed but Herbie will eat any pouches put in front of him!

Pianoaholic Wedgwood has Royal Canin hypoallergenic dry food he's been diagnosed with IBS after scans as he was constantly being sick. Vet also recommended not feeding "bought" wet food but chicken/turkey which he prefers raw. Leanora has to have the same refusing her normal sachets 🐯. Was given a sample of Hills dry food by Vet but Wedgwood didn't like it.
