Auditioning for Series One of The Prison Cat, forming a band, and continuing to plot against their enemies by means of their Ouija Boards - will they even have time to sleep now?

Meanwhile Linney has decided that discretion is the better part of valour and he is sitting in the front garden.

And exactly an hour later, he's come in and is investigating the heated blanket.

Right, all three of us are in the bedroom now.

Linney is on top of the bookcase, looking down at Gizmo.

There's some occasional hissing going on. I'm going to go and have a shower.

It's Sybil - but they all play on the loft ladder of their own accord anyway. I have to be VERY careful to ensure they don't get in the loft when I'm up there.

Oh my goodness Monty's TAIL! It looks like he has a striped furry boom microphone. So thick, so lush...

His face is adorable too, and that lovely peachy colour.

I am currently in Lithuania. I have seen lots of NMDs, including the cutest chihuahua who went crazy when I tried to say hi, but not a single NMC. It is bloody freezing and there's snow on the ground, but I thought I'd see at least one brave cat. However, lack of cats aside, I recommend Kaunas as a city break, it's beautiful out here.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne, @Allergictoironing Monty was about 17 when that photo was taken - he'd had a lump removed from his neck (injection site). The lump didn't come back and he lived to nearly 21. He was a brilliant cat, loved him to bits and still miss him.

Gizmo's dad absolutely loved him too. He put in our upstairs bathroom and, while he was working underneath the bath, Monty came and sat on his chest for about an hour purring his head off. It must have been incredibly uncomfortable but xNDN didn't have the heart to move him. We only realised when we went upstairs and found him 'incapussitated' 🤣.

I also miss the 'cat pile' phenomenon. The current 'kittens' don't indulge in that sort of behaviour.

Passed them, anyway. We had a couple of cocktails but were a lot more interested in the various treats at the Christmas market.

Incidentally, I would hugely recommend Prague but don’t plan to eat at the airport. The only hot food we could find was paninis.

Monty was a beautiful colour Grumpy and the cat pile looks amazing. Boris and Matilda will occasionally both sleep on top of me at the same time when I'm in bed, but it doesn't happen very often.
