Auditioning for Series One of The Prison Cat, forming a band, and continuing to plot against their enemies by means of their Ouija Boards - will they even have time to sleep now?

Agatha would, but she's sulking because the Overnight Bag of Doom has appeared. She would have gone outside to sit on the decking in protest but it's a bit cold, so she's gone to one of her blankie nests instead. Pretty much like every other morning, to be honest...

Who else is staying in tonight because their cats don’t like fireworks?

I'm staying in and will need to take a double dose of Nytol - I live in a steep sided valley and noises ricochet up and down the length at the best of times. I'm very surprised that the fireworks haven't started already, it can be like WW3 here on NYE from 6:30pm until about 3am tomorrow morning.

Tobias doesn't give one about fireworks, while Girlcat tends to sit on the windowsill looking out at the pretty lights while ignoring the bangs.

We're just staying in and I have locked catflap as fireworks are already going off around here!

Oddly, despite the fact that Stripey is the most skittish cat I’ve ever met, she is quite chilled about fireworks. I don’t think she would like to go to outer space though. Snowcat would probably cope without her but she does like being able to summon her sister when she wants her, so maybe they should both skip the adventure.

I think I may have the most polite cats in the county, if not the country.

Due to fireworks, and the fact I've had a few very bad nights sleep, I took a half dose of Nytol before bed - one of the 2 a night tablets. And boy did I sleep well, asleep by 11pm and (bar a pee at about 2am) didn't wake until well after 9am. Staggered to the bedroom door for the loo only to see 2 little faces looking hopefully at me, sat side by side in the doorway just about as close as possible to the bedroom without crossing the threshold.

I should point out that my bedroom is always open to them, and they happily spend time in there & even on the bed. They are just far too polite to interrupt my sleep!

That’s incredibly polite of Tobias & Girlcat! They could give lessons.
