Auditioning for Series One of The Prison Cat, forming a band, and continuing to plot against their enemies by means of their Ouija Boards - will they even have time to sleep now?

Ladies, this is just Grumpy showing off that he's got a large Fortnum's hamper.

I imagine his next post will be an image of Sybil, balanced on top of eight (or more) F and M hampers.

When I was writing my first post about Grumpy and the hamper, autocorrect wanted to put:

Although knowing Grumpy, he will now produce some kind of medical evidence to prove that he has, indeed got a large duodenum. And then he'll post a picture of Lenny, standing on it.

That pile of hampers looks like a VERY satisfying cat tree/scratching post.

And imagine how satisfying it would be to knock them all down.

At least whichever cat it is (sorry I can't tell whether it's Lenny or not?) isn't scratching the Fortnum's hamper. Great respect shown there!

Ah, the days when we could afford to give a (very small) F&M hamper to my Godmothers at Christmas! It used to be a tradition that we (mother, me & DSis) would go up to London for a day in the run up to Christmas & we would "do" F&M towards the end of the afternoon & have afternoon tea in the restaurant there.

We would tend to go for quality rather than quantity for family gifts, so something like F&M tea and/or a tube of their biscuits for token gifts. Plus early on (looking at late 60's early 70's) it was the only place you could get Godiva chocolates which were mother's favorites.

Back then it was Hatchards for books as Waterstones weren't around.

He usually sits on fluffy surfaces only. When the other cats are out on the balcony, he remains at the door on the carpet.
Also Cat Four with one of her new catnip chew toys. My boys are unaffected by catnip but my girls love it.

Ah you are right. The Watwrstones is absolutely wonderful and I always end up spending a fortune in there even if I deliberately only go in ‘to look’.
Fortnums on the other hand which I absolutely adore, I look at the prices and think ‘How much for biscuits??!!’ Sadly my days of purchasing there have dwindled.

I buy Fortnum’s biscuits for Christmas presents but by the tin, not the hamper.

One of the benefits of living somewhere with an astronomical cost of living is you look at the price of a F&M hamper and think oh that's like getting the ingredients for three normal family dinners from the supermarket. Worth it for Christmas! (Cry/laugh).

Since joining Facebook I have been bombarded with cat reels. Not complaining (they are better than the little piano whizz kids I am also bombarded with!).
There's one big black and white tuxedo cat called Felix who appears a lot, with hilarious descriptions and 'word of the day'.

Ooo. Is that Felix who wakes his slaves up at 5am and causes mayhem? I get him (and Willow) popping up a lot. 😀 Hahaha
