Toad is not very good at getting consent. If he wants to snuggle, then he will snuggle. Usually it ends up with the other cat storming off in a grumpy.

OMG Gizmo has just brought in a babt finch, and chased it all over the sitting room.

Pa Broon managed to grab the bird when I flicked water on Gizmo.

We thought the bird would die, but after a ten minute rest on the table, it flew across the room. So my intrepid husband caught it again, and set it free.

We're having chicken for dinner tonight, too. Perhaps Gizmo just couldn't wait.

Oh dear. Herbie is also in disgrace again.
We came down to pigeon wing remains and unidentified parts of a pigeon on the dining room floor.

Toad has moved on from invading Raven's box. He is now asleep on the arm of my office chair, but as he's a bit too big, he's had to brace himself against the seat. This does not look at all comfortable.

Kitty & I have just been playing ball. I’m going to get her the Ouija board & see if she spells out any messages.

@EmpressaurusKitty maybe all the Excellent Cats who get an ouija board will start communicating with each other.

If you ask her if she's hungry, I bet she'll be able to point to YES.

Or just amble over to her food bowl, so you get the general idea.

I think Lex does already. He spends a lot of time staring into my cabinet (or The Haunted Cabinet as my friend calls it) as if he's watching something. If you put your hand in front of his face, he'll move his head so he can carry on staring.

Kitty stares out into the hall sometimes when I can’t see anything.

She’s already very good at telling me when she’s hungry or wants to play / be stroked / go out, but the ouija board could still be fun. I suspect the Excellent Cats have their own communication system already - after all, someone got Gizmo moved up to Scotland.

Some lovely NMHC in Tuscany, one was friendly and then suddenly realised it did not know me and backed off! The cat's owner laughed at it!
