Cat has eaten bolognese sauce

I’ve made bolognese for tonight’s dinner, which I have had simmering away, stirring occasionally. I caught the cat up on the side having a good lick of the spoon. He can’t have had much, literally a few licks. It has an onion, a couple of garlic cloves, celery, carrots, a couple of peppers, passata, some leftover cherry tomatoes, and obviously mince.

I know garlic and onion are toxic - should I be worried?

He was swiftly removed and is now having a snooze in his bed by the radiator. (Normal afternoon routine.)

Today, naughty Sabre has pulled my husbands already opened fruit cake out of the bread bin, pulled open the cellophane and chiselled some off it with his little teeth! And he's had a good go at it too! And I didn't hear him until he jumped down! At first I couldn't see what he'd done, then saw the cake sat on the bread board, which I thought had fallen forward and out of the bread bin somehow, but nooo... Greedy guts had helped himself! 🤣

I’ve taken chicken breasts out of the freezer for tomorrow, and must remember to move them from the side to the fridge before bed.

Mine went to the vets last night
She said "now do you want to do an injection or can you get medication in him?"
Me "er. He just eats it"
Vet Confused "weird but.. ok"
