I'm amazed that the first thread has filled up. So he's another thread about the inmates of Toddler Towers!

So was mine. He weighs 9kg.

Breadcat24 · 26/05/2024 13:48

They are both gorgeous - just checking in for the pictures!

gorgeous cats

Guiltypleasures001 · 26/05/2024 17:40

Oh the look of love for you at Todd's
Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 26/05/2024 18:23

@Guiltypleasures001 he's started slow blinking at me. That is not a look of love from Penelope.

Oh bless him. He looks very settled.

Breadcat24 · 27/05/2024 12:48

He is lovely. Looks very thoughtful with the moustache

learieonthewildmoor · 27/05/2024 21:27

He’s very kingly. Taking no notice of Penelope growling at him, you said on the Ella and Jasmine thread. Cat Three backed right off when Cat Two looked at him sideways.

Toddlerteaplease · 27/05/2024 21:51

He's got the cutest little squeak for a voice.

Just found a large pop on my bed with fresh blood in it. Not sure which one it's come from. But seems far too big to be from Penelope. Both seem well in themselves and are eating well.

Poo.

Ew. How lovely.

Haven’t you changed his food though? That can sometimes trigger colitis. I recommend getting some pro-kaolin for times like this

Toddlerteaplease · 28/05/2024 10:20

@Soubriquet yes his food did change quicker than I'd have liked. Once he discovered that Penelope had Sheba, he was having none of his Harringtons. I swapped him in to grain free food. I think the rescue swapped him a bit as well. I don't have proof that it was him, but I can't imagine it was Penelope. A cat her spice couldn't get a poo out, that was that big. I'm really surprised, as it's the first non litter tray poo I've had.

That bodes well!

Toddlerteaplease · 28/05/2024 11:37

I hope so. I can't help wondering if I should have got a girl cat. As I know Penelope likes girls. But I thought there would be not much difference with a neutered sippy boy.

Soubriquet · 28/05/2024 11:39

No point dwelling on what could have been. Penelope might not have tolerated a female either

Toddlerteaplease · 28/05/2024 11:46

No, you are right, and I particularly wanted an exotic. He's a lovely, lovely cat though.

They look lovely in the window. I'd say they are doing really well, our two (female, litter mates) are rarely close together than that!

Breadcat24 · 28/05/2024 14:00

really shows the size difference

Toddlerteaplease · 28/05/2024 14:33

It was quite funny when Paddington decided to share Penelope's windowsill. She just sat behind him glaring at him and growling.

Well the kaolin dosing went well......
