I'm amazed that the first thread has filled up. So he's another thread about the inmates of Toddler Towers!

Yeah it’s a bit of a messy one Grin

Scampuss · 28/05/2024 20:00
Grin

Eek.

I've given Penelope Magic's old bathmat so that she's more comfortable. She looks very chilled out on. It!

My friend bought Pads a blanket with Strawberries on it, as he came from Strawberry Rescue. It's safe to say he loves it. He's been making biscuits and chewing it for ages

Both very cute.

Soubriquet · 29/05/2024 10:59

Oh they both look adorable

Sandwichgen · 29/05/2024 20:35

Wait till he starts pleasuring himself on it!

(neutered males do this, I warn you, by rubbing against the fuzz)

Toddlerteaplease · 29/05/2024 22:14

I've got an agency shift 60 miles from home tonight, it'll be the longest time, I've left them together unsupervised. But Pad's has calmed down a lot. And they happily share the room.

No carnage, and peace reigning. Although Pen is still refusing to come off the windowsill.

OP posts:
Soubriquet · 30/05/2024 14:41

But that’s a great big step!

Toddlerteaplease · 30/05/2024 15:16

Pen has just seen him off the windowsill. I think he is genuinely trying to be her friend. I think I'm going to get her a microchip feeder. I can't see any other way of getting her off the windowsill. Paddington is incredibly greedy.

Yeah anything could help. Have you got a feliway?

Toddlerteaplease · 30/05/2024 20:26

Yes. Swapped from optimum to friends and it's really helped.

Soubriquet · 30/05/2024 21:14

Then I guess it’s just time really

Toddlerteaplease · 30/05/2024 22:34

I've shut Pads out of the bedroom tonight, to try and persuade Penelope to come and sleep in my bed, like she was doing. She stopped last week. Feel guilty about him as I can hear him outside!

Toddlerteaplease · 31/05/2024 07:42

Penelope still on my pillow. I've let Pads back in. She's growling and hissing at him, from her /my pillow But he's not reacted at all.

He is being a good boy.

Toddlerteaplease · 31/05/2024 09:36

He's chilled!

I think he's basically a toddler that has yet to learn how to share! He's only 2.5. And has lived on his own.

OP posts:
Soubriquet · 31/05/2024 20:12

Oh he’s a darling. I don’t like flat faced cats normally, but he really does tug at my heart

Toddlerteaplease · 01/06/2024 10:26

I think Pens ulcer has flared up. She seemed ok yesterday. But this morning, won't open it and it looks cloudy. Can't get her Into the vet until Monday. (Unusual) Fortunately have an unopened bottle of drops from. Last time and loads of metacam.

I have a veritable treasure chest of cat medication in my fridge.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/06/2024 11:13

So do I fortunately! Poor poppet. It's just one thing after another with her. I think she got an underlying issue. As she has ulcers in her ears as well. But that's under control.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/06/2024 11:16

It might be stress-related. Have you tried Zyklene? There are also probiotics that can help.

Soubriquet · 01/06/2024 11:29

I would say it’s probably stress too. Poor puss
