I'm amazed that the first thread has filled up. So he's another thread about the inmates of Toddler Towers!

A little bit of hissing but no aggression in it. I'm so tired from being up half the night, I'm on my second cup of coffee. Desperate measures!

He sounds really laid back and confident. Hissing isn't a bad thing, usually the cat hissing is saying that they're worried. It's usually not aggressive.

There is a definite difference from the hissing between Cheddy and Penelope. That wasn't particularly aggressive. But Cheddar was definitely in charge.

This was 'who the hell are you? And why are you on my bed?

A very acceptable question really. The next one will be “who are you and why the hell are you using MY litter tray”

I heard him using Penelope's tray this morning 🤣🤣

He's a bolshy boy. I love my boy but he a rather typical male sometimes.

So happy it seems to be working out so far with the moustache cats!

I've let him out of the room and moved his food downstairs. He is currently under the bed, and Penelope happily sitting on the windowsill in her favourite spot.

He came out for dreemies!

He looks in lovely condition.

He's so beautiful, just want to give him huge cuddles.

I'm not sure of the reasons for rehoming, but he was loved. The feliway is working well. Penelope has just let me get some knots out of her, and she didn't run.

It's a month today since I lost Cheddar. 😰

He looks like a lovely teddy bear. I'm sorry about Cheddar's month's mind.

(For anyone who doesn't know it's an Irish Catholic practice of coming together to remember people one month after the funeral. It's all part of grieving).

Penelope actually seems quite nervous, I've just persuaded her to come downstairs. She's looking over her shoulder again.

Made the mistake of letting her out an hour ago. She absolutely will not come in when asked. I really wanted an early night tonight!

Oh dear, I hope she accepts him as a friend.

It's more because she thinks I'm going to give her her eyedrops!

Naughty Pen!

We've all had a more peaceful night. Penelope has slept on my pillow. Pads at the other end of the bed, at times If he's come closer, she's hissed and he's backed off completely. She's not relaxed but it's not even been 12 hours since he's been loose!

So respectful of him! This does all seem to be going well.

I don't now if you'd realised, but pen and pad actually go well together as a theme :)
