I'm amazed that the first thread has filled up. So he's another thread about the inmates of Toddler Towers!

Congratulations on bringing him home!

SoDoffYourHat · 13/05/2024 20:13

His little paws and that sad face - so sweet 😍

Scampuss · 13/05/2024 20:30

At least he's home!

Hoping it all goes well.

Toddlerteaplease · 13/05/2024 20:37

Oh isn’t he lovely!!
and black toe beans in white paws too!

Toddlerteaplease · 13/05/2024 21:08

I was under the impression he would just hide. He has already started eating. Loves being brushed. Loves fuss. He reminds me of someone..........

He's now on the windowsill. Better get a flat cat for that window!

What a lovely, friendly boy. And what gorgeous little paws.

He’s fallen on his feet with you.😊

Scampuss · 13/05/2024 21:24

Crikey, what fantastic settling already.

How's Penelope coping?

Guiltypleasures001 · 13/05/2024 21:28

So pleased for you both Todd's what a little smasher
Ive never seen a Persian with that colouring

Toddlerteaplease · 13/05/2024 21:35

He's just used the litter tray! Penelope seems completely unbothered. She's out on her nightly trip round the garden.

@Guiltypleasures001 he is anything but little 😂

You'll need a wide angle lens for the photos!

Ellmau · 13/05/2024 21:47

Oh, he seems lovely. Has his name come to you yet?

JoanOgden · 13/05/2024 22:14

Oh what a sweetie! So pleased his arrival has gone so smoothly. He and Penelope will look adorable together with their matching moustaches.

Toddlerteaplease · 13/05/2024 22:18

I think he's a Paddington. The rescue have forgotten to give me his vaccination certificate. Bizarrely they've started new one. And not given me the old one. It came with him as I saw it when I first met him. The rescue have said he needs to be kept apart from Pen for a week. That is not going to happen! He's much more confident than I was expecting.

He's been crying on and off since 1am. He's wants out of the room. So let him have a wander around the house. He likes the rig in the lounge. Retrieved a toy from the teepee and played with that. Penelope is completely non plussed and not even sitting outside his room.

He sounds very confident!

Ellmau · 14/05/2024 08:05

This is the most successful cat introduction ever.

Bagpuss1200 · 14/05/2024 08:12

Aww Paddington is a lovely name! He's settled in so well, I hope you will all be very happy together!

Toddlerteaplease · 14/05/2024 08:34

I was told he'd just hide. Apparently not. I've let him out again. (Rescue were not impressed when I said they'd met.) but it was unavoidable. Penelope is not looking impressed, but has not really reacted at all.

There has been no e of the behaviour we had with Darling Cheddar. Yet. But I'm at uni today, so he'll have to go back into the room I'm out.

Scampuss · 14/05/2024 10:35

Wow, he does sound very confident!

Soubriquet · 14/05/2024 12:21

Well I think it sounds like a successful introduction tbh. No hissing from anyone, they seem unbothered by each other and he’s a softy loving boy. All good. Im really pleased for you
