Please don't flame me I'm here for advice.

My 'house' cat has just given birth to 1 kitten, I did not know she was expecting, no real weight gain and she is a longhair so has disguised this well. The 1s

What a wonderful thread. More please!

As my rescue kitties are twin boys, I will never have this lovely surprise.

Oh my goodness! What stunners, I wonder what the father was like.

I love the idea that having escaped the OP's cat was incredibly fussy about finding a father and rejected lots of mangy toms for a suave film star cat!

My friends' cat's father was notorious in the village. He came to a sad end as he was run over but not before he had made sure that his lineage would continue (and some).

How many are you rehoming? Bet you are keeping at least one!

That little tortie, she's a star.

ludicrouslycapaciousbags · 20/08/2023 17:36

All going to new homes, friends/family which has worked out perfect I'm very lucky.

However there is nothing more that I would love to have them all! I'm hoping by the time comes I will be frazzled and be happily waving them off 😂

@IcakethereforeIam

Little tortie is the naughtiest, last born, smallest out the 3 but the most vocal! Defo the biggest personality and very hard not to make your favourite 😻

They are adorable! I wouldn't be able to part with them, they're so cute 💕

Ketzele · 20/08/2023 19:09

Even by kitten standards, they are so lovely.

I think this is a bit mean! I'm sure OP will make sure that the kittens go to great homes. Many people live cats throughout their whole lives, not just when they are tiny, cute bundles of mischief.

I didn’t intend for if to be mean so I apologise if it came across that way. I see animals discarded and dumped regularly, I get very frustrated and and want to get across that reminding that having animals should be a life long commitment and need responsible owners, amongst all the ‘they’re so cute’ type posts. Of course they are cute and I really do hope they all go to good homes for their entire lives. I hope OP insists they are all spayed/neutered and gets her own cat spayed ASAP.

Again, apologies if my post sounded mean. More frustration after a particularly difficult couple of weeks.

It’s not mean.

I volunteer at CP, all cats, indoor, outdoor should be spayed. Never assume infertility or sex.

the amount of unwanted kittens we have right now through apathy is a disgrace.

ludicrouslycapaciousbags · 20/08/2023 19:30

@TerfTalking

All kittens have loving homes to go to.

Sorry for what you see day to day in CP.
