We found a kitten. Tips

Help! My daughter and husband have brought this sweet baby home having found it in a roadside. It’s a bit bitey and scared so I haven’t checked sex yet.

I’m off to the vet in a bit to check for any chip and to see what condition it’s in.

It has a good voice so I’m hoping it’s ok, although one eye is a little droopy.

It’s had a drink and is peeking up a bit now it’s out of the sun.

Anything else I should be doing other than keeping it safe?

I’ve had cats before but rescued as adults, never a kitten!!

he woke me up at 4:30 this morning licking me up the nose. It’s a good job he’s so cute!!

I got woken about the same time by our male House Panther walking over me . He's a long legged slinky boy but bloody hell he puts so much weight into each paw as he steps.
Still cute thing for a 5yo cat to do but I daresay a teeny kitten does it better

Just an update….we got Terry a pal. Went for a tabby boy kitten. But came back a with a grey floofy girl about 9 months old!

Terry got big and is off for his little op this week. Poor boy.

Floofy girl is beautiful, they seem to be friends too?

Our boy doesn't regret losing his tackle , it meant he could get a home .

What is Ms Fluffydrawers called? Magrat? Esme? Ptracey?

Mrs Fluffy has been named Misty. After I got to name the boys Terry and Pratchett it was deemed unfair to have another discworld name. (My chicken is Esmeralda though). I was pitching Adorabella and Gytha 🤣

They get on mostly with the odd fight when Terry is just too overbearing!

Misty has a really bad stomach too. She came from the farm near us and had 9 months ish of roaming the yard. So she’s not feral, she came into the house and wouldn’t leave, she’s also not full pet. So she is having cat probiotics and dry food while it settles.

She would suit Adorabelle if she has a tonne of attitude.

Unfortunately not. I thought she would but she’s just the softest and sweetest wee thing.
