Thought it would be lovely to have a thread showing photos of our rescues cats and how they ended up living with you.

We are owned by two rescues. A Devon Rex boy who joined us when he was 4 from the Rex Welfare Rescue. Our girl is a Calico cat found living at bottom of someone garden. We got her as a young kitten. They’ve bonded beautifully although our boy can get grumpy when she gets too playful or attempts to give him a good wash!

Thank you so much! She really is a sweetheart.

I love how cats all have different expressions and looks in their eyes and faces, some look so soft and sweet and soppy and kind and some look ‘don’t f**k with me’ but all equally beautiful, but also can be deceiving ❤️

One of these is not like the others...

(But very handsome all the same @ChronicallyMyself and if you must know I'm quite partial to a doggy!)

Micky (female) - she is a private rescue.
Repeatedly locked in a tiny carrier when she was in heat where she had to sit in her own pee and poo. Plus lots of physical abuse.

I was never much of a cat person , always preferred dogs but these 2 totally changed that after rescue from RSPCA

We had 10 and 12 years together, both gone now leaving us all totally broken 💔

How anyone can halm an animal is just beyond belief

I know its a cat thread but can we make an exception as this skinny fox just came home yesterday. He's absolutely bonkers. Vet says he's healthy, just underweight and underexercised. Not very domesticated yet (understatement) but he's got a lot of spirit. Never seen such zoomies in my life. I think the poor lad has been cooped up in a shed or something - he wasn't neutered when found, probably a dumped stud dog.

Well (based on your username) I think we can all agree that dogs are indeed an inferior kind of cat.
And your skinny fox does look lovely.

I have had 4 cats, all rescues. First 3 were black and black or white, the oldest lived to 19.
Currently on a tabby as he stole our hearts. He is lots of fun, very affectionate and rules the roost.

What gorgeous cats and dogs!

These 2 are our current foster kittens. When they came to us they were 16 weeks old ferals - from a colony outside a hotel so were fed but had no human interaction. They needed gauntlets at the vet when they came to us, had to be in a crate for weeks, absolutely savaged getting them out out for flea treatment/worming.

Slowly they became more confident but all of a sudden they are just needy/cuddly purr monsters! I can scoop them up for cuddles and they form a little kitten train following me of DD around the house. They sleep on our beds ( very slack kitten fosters) and just need to be near humans. Love the little Panthers so much.
