Unusual cat name suggestions please!

Hi,

We brought our 1 year old rescue home a couple of days ago. He is absolutely adorable, floofy, super affectionate, gentle but also very playful. He is really soft and slinky.

He's black, with brown on the underside/chest. We don't want an obvious name like Sooty, but something unique and unusual. Weirdly, we joked about calling him Chimney instead, and on the first day he climbed behind the fireplace to explore😂Chimney doesnt realy sound right though🤔

Morpheus

We’ve just enjoyed The Sandman on Netflix and I’ve been thinking if we were naming our cat now he’d be called that.

Oh but Knuffle is gorgeous! As is your cat! Such lovely floof

How funny @anotherpotoftea - Morpheus was the name we had chosen before he arrived as he looks so majestic in pics & we like Morph as a nickname, but then not sure it felt right in person.

We may have to add it back onto the list!

I think naming a child would be easier than this 😆

I think he looks like a Knuffel - that’s such a cute name.

He looks identical to our rescue cat Marley !!

Our next cat is going to be called Fenchurch.

I'd call him Igor, but I'll admit my cat's called Frankenstein (Frankie for short)

I've always given our cats the names of places, our first cat was Mitcham as that was where the rescue place was.
Jill Cooper had a dog called Sevenoaks which I think is a great name.

There's always Calcifer the fire sprite from Spirited Away.

Can I just temporarily derail to introduce Charity, Mercy, Prudence, Temperance and Verity (otherwise known as Cherry, Merry, Perry, Terry and Verry) my foster kittens?

Aaahhh he looks like my old rescue cat Sunny - he had yellow eyes and thought it really suited him, plus he was our sunshine too 🥰🥰🥰
