Unusual cat name suggestions please!

Hi,

We brought our 1 year old rescue home a couple of days ago. He is absolutely adorable, floofy, super affectionate, gentle but also very playful. He is really soft and slinky.

He's black, with brown on the underside/chest. We don't want an obvious name like Sooty, but something unique and unusual. Weirdly, we joked about calling him Chimney instead, and on the first day he climbed behind the fireplace to explore😂Chimney doesnt realy sound right though🤔

I keep just saying random names at him to see if he responds, he must be wondering who this demented woman is he's got stuck with.

Really like the idea of the chimney/fire theme, and although it's not that unusual, Kenny is now on the list! It means 'born of fire' and 'the handsome one' which seems appropriate, it's cute & I think it would suit him. But still like Knuffel...maybe that will be his 'official' name 😄

Considering putting shortlisted names on bits of paper, screwing them up & seeing what he picks. Yep, entering 'crazy cat lady' territory and not ashamed.

The rescue centre gave him a temporary name of Caesar as they thought he looked majestic. I don't hate it, but don't really like it either & he doesn't seem to respond to it. It also makes me think of the dog food🤔

Don't know what his name was originally, they said it was 'ridiculous' so they changed it. I might try to find out, bet I love it😂
