I’m on the terrace with Havelock and Bobby both ‘casually sunbathing’. A centimetre from the cheese plate.

Cheese thefts ARE a problem though, it’s a good idea to watch the cheese.

It is very very stupid for any human to leave cheese or butter in close proximity to Sybil...

Would anyone care to guess who is lurking out of shot, behind the door?

Oh the glory and beauty that is Sybil. She looks in fine form there, awaiting the arrival of her suitor with her cousin's chaparoning her.

I’ve ballsed up the cat litter order, by forgetting to order any, and now I have to go and sieve her old wood chip litter for the bits that are ok to use.

We only have one sieve 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is why I didn’t have kids. This and not wanting them.

Morticia is snuggled up with me 💕 she normally wails to go in with Victoria but waits until she is asleep to start iyswim. Poor kid is in the middle of a run of 8 5am starts so she needs her sleep

It’s 2am. I’ve just had to borrow Dreamies from Havelock due to Capns ferocious appetite. He gives me the fear by starving for two days then goes all-you-can-eat-buffet.

Havelock pretty grudging but I did ears ‘n’ chin for hours. now they’ve had half a pack each so hoping for some sleep here.

In vain. It’s now 230 and Capn is still angrily scenting me after I came back to bed whiffing of another man. Eyes narrowed to slits, paws a little bit slicy. Head rubs are frenzied.

I’ll pick up savlon with the cat foods tomorrow.

I found Germolene cream better than Savlon, has a very mild numbing effect.

Work today, alarm set for 7:30am, so of course I woke up at 5:50 and unable to get back to sleep. Cats slightly confused at the early hour, and Girlcat in my bad books as she was curled up on the only seat in the house that's mine. I don't mind the shedding there, just that both of them seem to think it's the proper place to shift hairballs (or hair soup in Boycat's case).

Bad luck Allergic. ‘The only seat in the house that’s mine’ = definition of love.

If there's any doubt, my question was of course purely rhetorical. The improved weather has made the stripey one become (if possible) even more omnipresent than usual. He's camped outside the back door as I speak.

I suspect Mrs G despairs of the whole situation. Giving him dreamies would’ve been my peak TC moment.

I can hear Puddy being groomed, I think she’s winning.

I reckon Mrs G’s battling a terrible secret shame. Despite herself, she somehow seems to leave a pack of OMO on the windowsill on sunny afternoons.
