The meds stop working, they tell me. But his morale is fine and pigeons are still frightened of him. So proud.

He cuddled my face with his tail last night when I was sad. Stroked my cheek for ages, cos he likes it when I do it to him and he was returning the favour. He is so kind and loving.

Oh Super ... you write so eloquently about the lovely Cap'n, your devotion to each other shines out of your posts. Fingers crossed that his appetite will return. Is he ok with dairy? Baby rice mixed with cat milk and/or kitten food was the answer when my DM had a Persian cat with kidney problems who wouldn't eat

My grandma had to give her lab puppy Heinz baby food when she got him as he was only 6m old (it was the early 70’s). It’s low in salt for his kidneys. You can sprinkle catnip on food too.

Dh has been admitted again and Puddy is looking for him and has now gone off lunch. Breakfast and dinner are ok but lunch is a sticking point. She ignores him unless it’s dreamie time but he’s not here to be ignored and its just not cricket. It’s impossible to ignore him when he’s not here.

My two loved food from a Republic of Cats trial, Lana. And it was a very generous amount they sent.
Pets give the best cuddles, especially when you're down. The dog, who is very loving when she's not ripping the face off another dog, is currently cuddled up against me, and when I go to bed I'll have Matt one side and Socks the other keeping me warm.
Sorry to hear about DH, Fluffy. Thinking of you, and Puddy of course, and hoping he'll be out soon.

Paws is here for the third night in a row. He ignored the food and took himself off to his room (the spare room, with an old pillow I've put out for him on his favoured sleeping spot)

All the best to DH Fluffy, sending every good vibe there is. Hope not too worrying for you. He in best place, that’s for sure.

At least DH can luxuriate in lots of lovely free warmth. If I were him on grounds of financial planning I’d aim for a bed blocking diagnosis till June.

My question for the morning is, how do they know?
Just heard TC fighting outside and looked to see him chasing one of our black cats off our drive. .
Most unimpressed until Mrs Grumpy pointed out that all our 4 were all visible (Lenny was happily watching the entertainment) and therefore this was an interloper. So if I can't tell the difference, how come TC can?

Paws gave me a sod off look at 6am and stayed the latest ever until 7.30am

Tinned, so proud. Normally he’d have sent me on a jet ski to an island off Japan to dive for a couple of newborn tuna that he then wouldn’t touch.
