Sympathies, Defiantly. During the Christmas/New Year heatwave I have roasted in bed with Matt one side and Socks the other pinning the duvet down.

I got my new bed today (finally). Not ideal having to build it when I'm still not well. It's a fabric frame so I'm trying to keep Walt away. He's not impressed, so he sat in the box to make a point.

I'll last about a day keeping him away. I don't actually mind him being on the bed at all, just don't want the frame scratched.

The big scratch posts arrived then?

I am having a nervous day after a last minute spay operation for Indy. I know she will be fine, I know it will all be OK, but I am just waiting by the phone for the call to say she is OK and we can pick her up later on. She was only going in for a last minute claw clipping! As she had had no breakfast, and they had a cancellation the vet offered to do it today instead of in 3 weeks time. She was very grumpy this morning as she had no breakfast, and will be even more grumpy with us later on.

Leroy's Molly is no longer the colour it was in that photo I took about half an hour ago.

It is soggy and manky but he's now settled down for a nap with his head on it.

Sending you a paw hold Snow. We know they're fine, but there's always a niggly doubt that you might just be the worst catmother in the world. 😁

Does anyone use valerian tea to help with sleep? I left my pack out one night and came down in morning to find William had pawed it down, ripped open the bags and was squirming in it on his back, giggling and chatting to himself.

Cats love valerian.

Haha I had this one morning with my cat Ellie!

Honestly she was high as a kite and there numerous ripped open valerian teabags all over the kitchen floor 😂

hmmm, mine have never ripped the valerian tea open but the lovely lady at our cattery made the girls some toys with catnip and valerian in when we moved house, which were very popular (even more so than Molly's Mice and that's saying something)

Some seem more sensitive than others, oddly.

My other two don't go for valerian but are mildly sensitive to catnip ( have had Molly's Mousies in the past )

Nobody likes dreamies though. (Weird)
