It stopped raining so we're out. I cant imagine Mr Prissy Paws is going to stay out long - the wind is messing his fur up and it's Not Acceptable.

It's also my fault 🤷🏼‍♀️

NMC2022 · 09/12/2021 08:47

I am at work today. Hoping paw paws doesn't turn up while I'm out Sad
Ollie followed me to the door looking confused!

SpookyScarySkeletons · 09/12/2021 09:00

Two very naughty cats have stolen my wheelchair! I really need them to shift but Betsy the fluffy potato is refusing to budge.

NMC2022, it's a shame Ollie and Paws haven't worked out how to open and close the window.

SpookyScarySkeletons, that photo is proof (not that it's needed) that cats prioritise their sleeping spots over anyone else's needs. My friends' cat waits until they have nipped to the loo or the kitchen and onto their seat. He even hisses when he is asked to move!

True! When I was growing up, we had a Siamese who always nicked my father's chair at the dining room table. Every evening he had to tip the chair over to get rid of the cat, who was terribly offended at being usurped from her rightful place.

Walter nicks my seat when I go to the loo too. Cheeky sod.

He was pawing at my face earlier and nearly scratched my eyeball 😱

NMC2022 · 09/12/2021 20:39

This has made me laugh a lot today

@SpookyScarySkeletons that is very, very dear. Sign of love, seat theft.

Capns a pillow snatcher.

Papergirl1968 · 09/12/2021 20:53

Pondering on the way these days show their love...
The prodigal daughter visited on Tuesday and Matt made such a fuss of her, while Socks hid upstairs.
Last night I took the dog for a quick walk after work and Matt trotted after us till we'd gone round the corner, belly swinging merrily from side to side, before electing to wait on the drive till we returned.
Socks is such a timid little thing but every night she walks over me a few times while I'm reading in bed, standing between me and the book of course, then snuggles up next to me purring away. Occasionally we go to sleep holding hands/paws.

Papergirl1968 · 09/12/2021 21:04

These cats not these days...Confused

NMC2022 · 09/12/2021 21:22

I'm mega tired so have come to bed to watch youtube crap
Ollie is screaming at me as he won't cuddle on the bed and he's furious Confused he always used to sleep on my bed but he won't get on it now

YesItsMeIDontCare · 09/12/2021 21:23

Leroy shows his love by meowing in my face at 4:30am, clambering over me for a cuddle, then biting me before buggering off to his box for a very noisy bath.

Papergirl1968 · 09/12/2021 21:26

Poor Ollie. I wonder why he's gone off the bed. You'll have to get Paws in for bedtime snuggles.

What's up with Ollie?
NMC2022 · 10/12/2021 09:26

@AlfonsoTheUnrepentant he's fine, he just decided randomly a year ago that he would no longer cuddle/sleep on my bed Confused
So he sits on the floor shouting at me to go back to the sofa for cuddles. Not a clue!

Morning, all.

@NMC2022, cats, eh?

NMC2022 · 10/12/2021 09:58

He's capable of climbing on the bed as he does so to wake me up Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 10/12/2021 10:28

The Cap'n is still half asleep!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 10/12/2021 11:52

Although our cats generally rub along quite happily I have to admit that Lenny and Sybil do not get on. Lenny tends to clout Sybil whenever he sees her.
So wtf is going on this morning?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 10/12/2021 12:00

I don't know but now would be a great time for Lady Sybil to do an almighty and unladylike fart.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 10/12/2021 12:13

Outrageous! Grin.

I'm delighted to report that none of our cats are particularly flatulant (although on the rare times that Basil is, he can clear a room Shock)

Oh gosh Ivy is the same!!! When DD(12) had covid she was convinced her sense of smell had gone.... until Ivy farted whilst laid on her knee 😂😂
Vanuatu · 10/12/2021 12:50

Lenny is definitely giving Sybil the stink eye though.
He may be plotting Grin

AlfonsoTheUnrepentant · 10/12/2021 12:57

Sybil is being gracious and ignoring the ruffian.
