We're in catnip heaven too this morning.
New delivery from Molly's Mice. Supposed to be for Christmas but the cats could smell the mice through the mail packaging, so we've released two new mice early .

I’d like some advice lovely people 💕 Wednesday has taken to dribbling loads. I mean loads. It’s pretty gross tbh 😂😂

We’ve googled and it suggests dental issues but tbh she’s really happy and purry and fussy at the moment not even slightly unhappy.

I wouldn’t worry if it was established behaviour but it is very recent. It seems a bit excessive to go to the vet about my perfectly happy cat dribbling tho but I will if it seems necessary.

Are you able to have. A look at her teeth and check if the gums are inflamed?

She is the easiest going creature ever so I’ll get one of the kids to help me look 👍

Might be slightly dodgy kidneys - Capn' did it for a while but then it fixed itself.

I’ve looked and can’t see anything out of the ordinary. Her breath doesn’t smell either well no worse than usual 😂😂 I think I’ll keep an eye on her and see how she goes

Have got any houseplants? Lots of them are toxic to cats and cause drooling.

Poinsettias are toxic.

I don’t have plants or cut flowers in the house. I kill plants and don’t like flowers 😂😂 and they don’t go out so can’t have eaten anything outside the house

Apparently some cats will drool excessively if they are in pain. Might be worth a call to the vets and see if they want to see her?

I’ll see how she is tomorrow. She isn’t acting any differently at all other than the drooling.

😂😂😂 sounds like Ivy. She spent half an hour this morning with her tongue out and not realising it needed to go back in her mouth 😂

She actually doesn’t know how to cover her poo in the litter tray. She thinks that scraping the wall or the floor will do it. Her sisters do it for her in the end 😂😂

Belated congratulations to TheLongRider and Grumpy's son. Glad that Ivy seems to be better. Paws has to be praised for his resourcefulness. Good reminder about Molly's Mice, Grumpy. I need to order some for Christmas presents. I wish buying the human ones was as simple and that I could guarantee they would be as appreciated.

I am always grateful to Toddlerteaplease for the discovery of Molly's mice. I love the reaction when I take one out.

Walter does this! His tray is next to the sink in the bathroom, and he scratches the sink pedestal. He also dribbles when he purrs. He's really not very bright.

Betsy does the litter tray thing too! She has a covered tray and she stands there like a walls scraping at the door flap bit then turns around and can't understand why the poo is still there.

She's a bit special...

Paws noticed the window was closed and has banged on the door
The idiot can't figure out to climb on the chair to get out (I moved the sofa) so is prancing about worrying while Ollie eye rolls like "use the chair, stupid"

@swampytiggaa , how old is Wednesday? I don't want to worry you but this is how our lovely Pollycat was diagnosed with a tumour under her tongue, which was inoperable. She was 13, I think it's more likely in older cats.

It might be worth a vet visit if it doesn't clear up soon.

Lovely to hear everyone else's news. Defiantcat1 has taken to sleeping in the log basket now it's got cold
