Aslan!!! He'll take that!!! Our very own Queen can be The Winter Queen, accompanied gloriously by Ollie in his own dog-drawn sleigh.

Captain Titmuss is my role, a shoo-in cos of my hairy legs.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/08/2021 17:17

I think Puddy has definitely learnt dh luffly man, mommy utter witch who won’t share. I did give her a bit of sardine earlier which dh lovingly wiped the tomato sauce off and queried the need for deboning.

She came to the toilet with me for the first time this morning.

Worryingly the lady from the cat rescue rang yesterday but everyone apart from dh and dn are on mute so I missed it. I’m hoping it’s a how are things going thing and not a he wants his cat back situation.

Have taken in a foster kitty. He is adorable. Cat tax attached.

Tom came in at lunch and had a cut on his head. I'm so sad that he won't let me do anything for him. Will get antibiotics from the vet tomo (closed today as it's a bank holiday). Poor Tom. I feel so bad.

He's not aggressive around the foster. Has come into the same room sniffing at stuff Dave has touched. Dave nonplussed and was sleeping in a cat carrier.

Brilliant on the mortgage news.

Paws is adorable.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/08/2021 17:47

Maybe foster kitty will teach Tom your not a cat murderer?.

TheLongRider · 02/08/2021 19:54

Dave is so fluffy! Good luck with the fostering.

That's what I'm hoping fluffy. Tom seems to be interested in playing with other neighbourhood cats so I thought a friend at home might be good.

coastergirl · 02/08/2021 22:58

I've just read a thread where someone is looking for a name for their new puppy. 17 replies and not one single person has asked for a photo! Wtf is wrong with them? You'd never get that in the litter tray.

Supersimkin2 · 03/08/2021 07:27

Dave is hopelessly lovely. Tom might soften up a bit around him, give him a few days.

Capns eaten a tub of chives. We had death breath in bed all last night.

Oldraver · 03/08/2021 10:10

I had another bird left got me, and cane into the dining room to see this, little bugger have taken it off him

Classic shot 😆😆😆

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/08/2021 20:39

I think Puddy needs more calories, she’s not eating her biscuits like she was so I’m going to put salmon oil on her wet food.

The biscuits are light ones so perhaps she needs normal ones next time, I reckon she needs 300cal a day and she’s just scraping through. Unfortunately for the Pudster she has 4kg to get through. She likes you to sit with her while she eats.

@coastergirl I can well believe it. Some dog owners just aren’t very good owners. You still get dogs left in hot cars or walked in hot weather.

Justonedayatatime11 · 03/08/2021 21:27

@Fluffycloudland77 I have a very special new foster coming next week, I think you may like it Grin

Thanks Long. I already know I won't be able to let him go. Dave will be staying. No more cats though.

Little Dave at the vets today. He has cat flu and lice. Too young for tablets so the vet put stuff on him. I have to nit comb him tomo. Tom not dealing with the spot on has out a spanner in the works. I really need to get something.

House has been cleaned top to bottom, washed everything I could and disinfected everything else.

NowYouListenToMeFella · 03/08/2021 22:05

That's exciting Just. Can't wait to see a pic.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/08/2021 22:15

He has cat flu? That’s awful, have you nursed one through flu before?

Is it, by any chance, a BENGAL? @Justonedayatatime11. Their the best cats.

Justonedayatatime11 · 03/08/2021 22:26

@Fluffycloudland77 she might be!!

No I haven't. Any advice welcome? He is fairly lively, eating well, using litter box. The vet gave him an antibiotic injection for it and I have liquid anti inflammatory for him.

Oh just a Bengal. Gorgeous.

Supersimkin2 · 04/08/2021 00:06

Dave swooningly sweet. Cat flu might not be that severe with the little lad, he’ll be miles better when the abs kick in anyway. Good luck with the effing fleas - you’ve blitzed them before they had a chance to take hold, that’s the main thing.

nettie434 · 04/08/2021 06:49

My friends' cat got cat flu, just a few days before his vaccination was due. He was very miserable. He had eye drops and the powder Just mentioned that Charlie has been using, as well as the antibiotics. He was a very non compliant patient - it took two people to get the eye drops in but as Supersimkin says, the antibiotics began to work in a few days and he recovered quite quickly. Wishing Dave a speedy recovery from flu and fleas.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/08/2021 08:00

When it happened to one of ours the breeder put her back in with mum to be nursed through it. She’d had a flu jab so survived but she was much sicker than I’ve seen other cats.

Hopefully she’s not firmly on the side of Sartre @Justonedayatatime11.

My vet thinks Bengal owners are all a bit “much” even by usual cat owner standards “You’re all a bit “we operated on my friends and he rang every hour until he was ready to go home”, me, hugging 6.5kg of muscle to me on the table protectively “yes, well, they’re very sensitive little animals”.

Slackers.
Justonedayatatime11 · 04/08/2021 09:49

By all accounts she's in a bit of a bad way @Fluffycloudland77, she's been badly abused by her original owner so is going to need some work poor baby Sad
