What’s your cats names?

Ok so just out of curiosity and inspiration. We are getting a new kitten in 2 weeks and we have no idea on what to call him.
So thought it be good to start a thread to A) help me with ideas.
B) to help others in the future.

Our old cats names was Rosita.
My mum and dad used to have a 3 cats called Glitter Tinka and a male cat called cat. My mum explained that they couldn’t agree on a name and my dad referred to him as the cat and it just stuck.

I’m of the opinion you should give your cats the pretentious names you couldnt give your kids.

Hence our boy is called Oberon Kenobi
Girl is just Rosie as that was her shelter name

And just because - first little girl was Tiga, then we had Achilles (neither named by our family) and now we have two kittens, Skyloft and Midna - big Zelda fans!

My old boy is Mr Cooper. Previous cats were all females - Tiger, Jess, Cleo, Stella, and Willow

A girl called Syd. Named by people who took her up the rescue. We call her Syd Vicious...... because she is not!

My brother had siblings Sid (for Sid Vicious) most timid cat on the planet) and Not Sid.

Current two are "Morpheus" (known as "Morph" or "You Wretched Beast!") and "Aurora" (known as "Rory" and "Diva Kitt").

Last lot were: "Carmichael Cadarn" (known as "Carma"), Corbière (which is the French version of my great-grandmother's maiden name, who was known by "Corby"), Merlin (aka "Farty-McFartsupon", perhaps for obvious reasons!), Hermes (known as "Mimi") and Hercules (who became "Smirks"). They all knew they were in trouble if they heard their "proper" names - or I was booking them in for a vet's appointment...

Star(who mostly gets called "my boy") and Ellie (who mostly gets called "little shit ")as she likes to pounce at your ankles and try to trip you.

Love some of these. Gordon, Simon, Donna all make me smile.

Currently have a Fred. I didn't choose it, but I love the name for him.

Have previously had George, Daisy and Rocky.

Richie and Eddie- nearly 1 year old brothers. They live up to their names and are completely stupid, lovable shitbags 🤣

Are we sure that this is a boy? You wouldn't normally get a male cat with that colouring (extremely rarely anyway). It looks like a female.
