What’s your cats names?

Ok so just out of curiosity and inspiration. We are getting a new kitten in 2 weeks and we have no idea on what to call him.
So thought it be good to start a thread to A) help me with ideas.
B) to help others in the future.

Our old cats names was Rosita.
My mum and dad used to have a 3 cats called Glitter Tinka and a male cat called cat. My mum explained that they couldn’t agree on a name and my dad referred to him as the cat and it just stuck.

Ginger boy named Cheese . I bear no responsibility for that one!

We have Luna, George and Lupin.

Our kitty is Leo. His full title is HRH Prince Leo the Turd. Too many nicknames to list :)

My grandad had an all white cat called Winston (formerly Winnie, didn't realise he was a boy when my grandad adopted him from a lady he used to work with).

My cousins cat is Colin.

Alice. Or, Ali, Ali-poo, Alicia, Minx, minxy, mink, minky, moo, moo-moo, Madam. Unbelievable she still responds to Alice.

Previously had a Gus (she was a she), then an Otis and a Boo. Current cats are named Bug and Wart (all 4 boys).

Oh no how could you? I'm laughing but your poor kitties! 🤣

Monty, Norman and Sooty.

Pony and Donkey.

Pony because I compromised with husband - I wanted a pony, he wanted a cat so we named her Pony. She is my heart.

Donkey walked in through the kitchen window one evening and that is what I called out to my husband to get him to come and have a look. We tried to rehome her, but then we fell in love.

Since she looks somewhat like a male transvestite and has an awesome personality the name really suits her. So Donkey it is.

When we refer to them in the plural we call them the Equines.

Zara and Habibi. 'Habibi' (Arabic for darling/sweetie) is totally inappropriate though so we call her Beebs. She tricked me into adopting her by pretending to the be the sweetest, most gentle and innocent little kitty in the shelter who would never be the slightest trouble to anyone or anything. The second we got her home she barged out of the carrier with completely different body language and took over the entire house. She became the boss in about 30 seconds. But by then we'd already named her and it stuck.

I've got three boys and a girl. Ian, Danny, Gerry and Ruby.

Bubble and Squeak for the two boy littermates and Missy for the older ladycat. All rescue cats.

As another poster pointed out that kitten looks like a tortoiseshell, which are usually female.
I used to have two female cats that colour, Sascha and Callie.
