Ok so just out of curiosity and inspiration. We are getting a new kitten in 2 weeks and we have no idea on what to call him.
So thought it be good to start a thread to A) help me with ideas.
B) to help others in the future.

Our old cats names was Rosita.
My mum and dad used to have a 3 cats called Glitter Tinka and a male cat called cat. My mum explained that they couldn’t agree on a name and my dad referred to him as the cat and it just stuck.

I've got Lil-Bobbi and Silky. Husband named the first cat and I had to go through the process of insuring and registering with the vet with a ridiculous name......and now she is just called Bobbi. Grin

@Soontobe60
They are so cute! I'm a bit confused ...does the one on the right in the photo have 3 front legs or is she playing keep-away with her sister's front paw?

IHaveBrilloHair · 08/05/2021 13:56

Dd has Jaskier, from The Witcher

TroysMammy · 08/05/2021 14:02

Haribo.

Sheldon was also on my list of names but I would have had to have 2 cats to call the other Leonard.

Previous cats - Barnaby and Troy (Midsomer Murders) and O'Malley.

We have Beatrice/Bea/BB. Not very inspired, sorry Smile

I do call her Pooky sometimes after Garfield's toy bear.

He is gorgeous! I think he looks a gentle soul so I’d recommend a softer-sounding name. Something like Barney or Theo.

Our ginger cat is called Jeremy Cooke. Our family surname is not Cooke though. Named by my son after the BBC reporter. I don’t know why.

They tend to come running when they hear me say "Come along you murdering little bastards" though.

And he lives up to his name as the god of mischief!

GuppytheCat · 08/05/2021 21:13

Are you sure he’s a boy? He looks faintly tortie in the picture.

I’m no help on naming cats. Mine is called Guppy. We tried to change it but it stuck.
