Enjoy the break!

Justonedayatatime11 · 24/12/2020 17:52

Back to not eating. In all honesty I've never seen a more depressed looking cat Sad

QueenPawPaws · 24/12/2020 19:41

Oh @Justonedayatatime11 Sad keep trying even if it's only tiny bits of really tasty things

Justonedayatatime11 · 24/12/2020 19:45

I feel so guilty. I'm forcing antibiotics into her at 9am, painkillers at 1 and then liver medication at 6. She's hating it all and just looks so unhappy Sad

QueenPawPaws · 24/12/2020 19:56

I get that. Ollie was so sad when he was sick and I felt awful Thanks hand hold
I'm racking my brains.. would she eat tuna or some warmed up chicken soup? I even gave Ollie custard when he was sick because I figured it might prompt him to eat something

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/12/2020 20:27

Chicken livers? Our Persians went loopy for them but Asbo hated them.

Does she like cat milk?. Or double cream.

TheSilveryPussycat · 24/12/2020 20:58

The pain after tooth extraction can be pretty bad, obviously. And she has lost a mouthful Sad
Sympathy to her from someone who no longer has any real teeth. (Can you imagine if cats could wear false teeth...)

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/12/2020 21:06

They’d insist on the porcelain ones obv.

Justonedayatatime11 · 24/12/2020 21:22

She had maybe quarter of a teaspoon of double cream. She's just so so unhappy and I feel like the worst cat owner in the world.

coastergirl · 24/12/2020 21:31

Just, you are doing your best for her. That makes you an amazing cat owner.

QueenPawPaws · 24/12/2020 21:44

I just got ollies insurance renewal today. Jesus Christ
It's gone from £22pm to £42pm

TheSilveryPussycat · 24/12/2020 22:14

As she heals I'm sure it will get better. I think being hungry is a good sign even if eating is too painful at the moment.

Is that all?! My pair cost £125 a month and likely to double next year!
QueenPawPaws · 24/12/2020 22:41

MiL got me a really nice warm fluffy scarf. Leroy has claimed it already 🙄.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/12/2020 12:33

My dm used to give the family dog half a cider when she wanted time with her bf. gp would go out remarking you gave that dog a good walk he’s really tired as the dog snoozed under the radiogram. Sozzeled.

Luckily cats have more sense as the last thing we need are drunk cats yelling “I’ll take you all on” Dylan Moran style.
