Is DS on promenade duty today?

Depends. I'm not sure what time he's home from college. If necessary we'll split it so I can cook dinner.

Fair play to him though - he's still doing it whenever asked to.

Lost Morticia again. Found her out the back where she looked twice her normal size and hissing and spitting at me. Then she hid under next doors car.

Apparently she’d been happily playing with the frogs on his lawn but she was spooked by the time we found her.

I must have looked like a right nutter crawling around his drive on my hands and knees telling her that mommy was here 😂😂

Ended up shining a torch at her and dragging her out. Bit traumatic all round

Naughty Matt and naughty Socks decided to party last night.
Being an overprotective cat parent, I set my alarm for 2am. I managed to get Socks in and saw Matt but couldn’t get him in. 4am I got up again and saw Matt but he wouldn’t come in. Same thing 6am. Finally at 8am he came in, had something to eat and went fast asleep.
He is also in disgrace for marching up to the dog last night and hissing and growling at her so ferociously that the dog hid behind me for protection!

I am, Lana! And Socks trod on my nipple in bed. Being rather large of more, I was lying on my right side with my boobs on the mattress In front of me (stupid thing to say, they’d hardly be behind me would they? ). She’s a tiny little thing but by god it hurt!

Me & Cap'n are Team Matt. The dog must learn her place if she is to stay - happens to the best of us.

There’s been a definite shift this last week or ten days. Matt is staying in the room, fairly relaxed until the dog dares go too close and then it’s growling, hissing and spitting, plus a few times he’s lashed out at the dog with his claws.
Stupid dog backs off then a few minutes later she approaches again, tail wagging hopefully!
There are times though when she won’t walk past him and looks at me for help. I have to stand in front of him for her to walk by.

I hope Matt is getting extra cuddles, he'll be less aggressive. He is protecting you, Socks, the house and the snack cupboard from invasion - a lot for small furry shoulders to carry.

Needs snuggles and Dreamies, if you ask me.

Ollie has perked up at the thought of ham. I scared paws by tripping over the sofa and launching towards him. Poor mite

The new besties are loving life together. Nemo is a delightful kitten, chirpy and bouncy. He is enlivening DH's WFH by running across the keyboard.
